Avian had finally healed fully while Onyx stayed by his side all through, she watched him with a cheerful expression as his eyes shut open, he sat up without sparing a glance at her.
"Be careful, you don't have your whole strength yet." She said as he stood up abruptly from the bed and staggered a little, she held him to keep his balance but he swept her hands off him and continued walking towards the door.
His action really hurt her even though it wouldn't be the first time he was deliberately hurting her to keep her away from him but she was like a leech, not letting go.
"Avian!" She called with a croaky voice as a result of all the tears she shed because of him. Avian halted in his footsteps, he didn't want to admit to any feelings even though he could feel the bond between them, he would never give in, to only be hurt and weak.
