Sure enough, it was the scroll that he had ordered.
Clay then proceeded to look for the other materials.
Jar of fine Ink|
\Ink created from well-grown plants and herbs mixed with other materials/
Requirements: 2 SC, Level 1, Mapping Stat: 2|
Purchase?|
[Yes/No]
Pleasantly surprised by the exact same requirements to purchase it, Clay tapped on yes and confirmed his purchase.
Another light appeared in front of him on the floor revealing the item he had purchased from the system shop.
Clay did this one more time for the last item, the quality quill.
Quality Quill|
\A quill made from a silver goose/
Requirements: 2 SC, Level 1, Mapping Stat: 2|
Purchase?|
[Yes/No]
'So all tier two materials are the exact same price, which makes sense since they all create the same item' Clay nodded as he made his final purchase.
Finally, with the light shrinking, Clay could finally make the last map and complete his quest, which he was very excited about due to various reasons, one reason was that the rewards were increased, and that enough is already a big motivator for Clay who so desperately needs to get stronger in order to escape the control of that being, and second was that he just wanted to get the quest over with.
Gathering all the materials before placing them on his table, Clay thought hard about what area he should make the map about since the map he was about to create would probably be the last map he would create for the Tier 2 category for a long period of time. So, naturally, since it's the last Tier 2 map he would create, why not think about it longer instead of just half-assing it like the previous map, it didn't turn out well for the latest map he had created, he had to waste 1 batch of materials and that was painful for Clay's heart as he had been raised to save money and always be cheap, though his family is doing a lot better thanks to his help, once you get a taste of poverty you wouldn't want to taste it again.
With that said and done, Clay had already finalized what area he would be making a map of.
'System, create map' with the signature phrase said there was no turning back now.
<70 EXP, and 12 randomly allocated stat points received>
The familiar cooling sensation appeared again which energized Clay to a satisfying amount.
'I'm starting to like this new system rating, its so much more better than the f rating' Clay was still amazed by the difference in system ratings, even though he already learned the progress speed of system ratings, experiencing it for himself is much more eye-opening to how ridiculous of an advantage one can have over their peers, after all, knowing something is much more different compared to experiencing something.
Then the awaited system prompt finally arrived.
*Ding!*
[Yes/No]
'Yes, and yes again' Clay mentally groaned.
Clay took a deep breath as the itching and cooling sensation appeared which disappeared as fast as it came.
He was gleeful at his fast growth, compared to before which was like a turtle's walk speed, now was more like a bird soaring through the skies with no obstruction whatsoever.
'I'm never gonna get used to this feeling'
*Ding!*
[Yes/No]
Clay raised a brow.
'Beginner achievement? Come to think of it, I saw that before'
'System, open |Beginner| achievement'
Beginner|
Complete the beginnings chain quests, finally becoming a full-fledged beginner|
Rewards: 5000 SC, 1000 EXP, 100 unallocated stat points|
[Yes/No]
Clay's eyes widened for the umpteenth time today.
The reward for the achievement is almost as big as the chosen one, it only lacked 5000 more SC.
'This is getting out of hand' Clay was sweating at the speed of his growth, if before he was happy, now he was wary, thinking that things were too good to be true.
'This is getting a little bit out of hand' Clay repeated
Was it natural for a nobody like Clay to be bestowed with such a boon? What did Clay even do to get this treatment that people would kill for, does his past life have so much good karma that it transferred over to this life? Nonetheless, just because it made him feel uneasy doesn't mean that he would reject anything good happening to him.
So of course, Clay accepted the reward.
This time, the cooling sensation was more stronger, giving Clay the feeling of unlimited power.
'I'm definitely getting addicted to this' Clay realized his thoughts weren't straight once the cooling sensation appeared as if his mind was swimming in mud which was making it harder for him to concentrate.
'System, open stats' Clay was excited to see how strong he had grown from just completing the quest.

Clay's eyes practically popped out of their sockets seeing that all his stats except his mapping stat had broken through the triple digits, and his mp has broken through 4 digits. Clay was almost dizzy by his new strength, having his physical capabilities defined by numbers really helped in picturing how much stronger he had gotten.

The turtle continued on its journey.
Walking for 5 minutes before finally spotting a settlement of living beings.
Sure it could have flown, but it decided to walk just for the feeling it gave the turtle, almost reminding it of the time when it couldn't fly yet.
The place it had gone to was a human settlement, there were people moving here and there like ants scurrying along.
Seeing this, the turtle was mildly disappointed that it hadn't found a special place, it was expecting a more 'magical' view since the wolf's physique had intrigued the turtle a little bit, it was about to leave when it saw a woman carrying a weight that didn't fit her small frame at all.
The fires of curiosity lit up in the black eyes of the turtle as it watched with renewed interest.
