"Behold, a new world", said Ginnungagap, an infinite entity. Ginnungagap has tried over and over to create a perfect world, for he is alone and without purpose. "This world shall be unlike any other, and it will live until the end of time itself", he proclaimed, as he started to sculpt a figure, that of a man. Ginnungagap then said, "you shall not be called by any name, for you are this world itself, and the world's name shall be Lelievader." Ginnungagap placed the man onto the planet, and once he did, he returned to his place, in the infinite void.
The man awoke in an empty desert, with one message in his mind, from his creator. He stood up, and started walking. He did not know his reason, nor did he know his purpose. He just walked, until he reached the sea. He sat on the shore, looking into the clear blue waters. He saw his reflection, which made him shocked, for he has never seen himself. He thought of what his creator said, and he spoke, "if I am the world, I shall do what I desire, my creator!". "And I desire purpose!", he shouted, with the echo of his should being heard across the world. The man took sand and water, and for many nights tried to sculpt a figure in his image. But no matter how he tried, he could not copy the man he saw in his reflection. After all his work, he decided to instead leave it up to chance, he closed his eyes, and shouted "Make of this mud an entity who completes me." Once he said his command, a bright light appeared. The man opened his eyes, and saw a figure. The figure had long hair, and spoke in a lighter pitch than his. The figure opened her eyes, and looked straight at the man. There was silence for a short period. Then the two figures walked closer to each other, and once they did, they embraced. They both knew that they were the other halves to each other, and once they looked at each other once more, they started talking. The man said, "I shall spend my entire lifetime with you, from the beginning to the end. I shall be your husband, and you shall be my wife." The woman smiled and nodded.
The man decided to spread life across the entire world, and he decided that being infinite was monotone. So he and his wife sculpted eight figures, and the man shouted, "these shall be my sons, each made of an element of this world." The man continued, "one shall be of fire, one of water, one of earth, one of air, one of metal, and one of thunder." "Two shall be different, though. One shall embody death itself, and one shall embody the light that shines ever so bright." The man closed his eyes, and waited for the sculptures to be created. He opened his eyes, and saw eight newborn boys. In an instant, all of them started crying. He thought of using his infinite power, but decided against it. He turned to his wife, and he asked "My beloved, shall I rid myself of infinite power?". The woman replied, "our lives aren't meant to be infinite, since we have our sons. They shall outlive us, as their children will outlive them." The man and the woman picked up the sons and carried them to a place that they could call home. While journeying home, the woman asked the man, "my love, why do we not have names?". The man replied, "I was told by my creator that I cannot have one, for I am the world itself." The woman asked "And what is the world called?". The man said "Lelievader."
It's been ten years. The man and woman have raised their sons, which have all grown strong. The young ones have mastered the powers of the world, but are not ready to defend themselves yet. The sons have grown close, but two have decided to stray away. The master of fire and the master of death have decided that they are better than their family, and were tired of being below their father and mother. They started plotting for the downfall of their parents. "Oh brother, does it not tire you how we are so restricted?", says Vurheer, the master of fire. Caine, the master of death replies, "It does, brother. We can't express out true potential, we must do something!". "Then we must strike", said Vurheer. The brothers have decided to stir up some trouble. They walked to Hendrik, the master of earth, and Fulgor, the master of thunder. Vurheer and Caine took a look at the innocent brothers that they were about to attack. They started to attack the two, punch after punch. Suddenly a blast of water hits Vurheer on the head. Kairos, the master of water, had cast a water blast to stop the brothers from fighting. Vurheer and Caine turn their heads to Kairos and run towards him, casting their own magic. Vurheer's attack goes through, but misses. But Caine's attack starts withering his skin away, revealing his flesh, and then a black skeleton. Caine starts screaming in pain, which is heard by the parents, who rush over to see what has been happening. The father stops the withering and regenerates the arm, and the mother stops the fighting and scolds the boys. Once everyone has recovered, the father says, "how dare you use your powers for evil? I did not create you for the purpose of evil. You shall not ever use your powers till the end of your days!". The two boys looked at each other for a second and ran. The parents looked at them running, and remained silent. The father said, "they chose this life. I cannot help them." The mother nods in disappointment. They have other children to take care of. The now evil brothers have started training for their revenge. They have escaped to a bigger island across the sea, where they decided to start their mastery of the elements.
