I woke up early on Saturday morning cause I wanted to meet Sayuri, the weather was nice and it made me suddenly crave hot chocolate but I brewed some chamomile tea instead cause it's my favorite. After taking a shower, I quickly threw on some clothes, packed my hair into a bun and went out of my apartment to cab I already hired.
"Michelle!"
"Sayuri!"
I quickly ran to give her a hug and a peck cause she never liked it when I bowed, she prefered the western style of greetings.
"I thought you had forgotten about me already"
"Of course not! how could I forget my mentor? I've just been busy and I've news for you"
"Hmm! That sounds interesting and you look stunning by the way"
"That's all thanks to you"
"Ooh don't mention it, Let's go talk in the garden"
She led me to the garden and we both took a seat, I told her about all the things that happened when I didn't come to see her.
"I knew you'd end up with him, my intuition is never wrong"
"You're right about that"
"Do you remember that you once asked me to read a tarot card for you?"
"Yes I do, that was the first time we met"
"I can read it for you today since I have spare time"
"That would be great, thank you"
She went back into the shop and brought out a handful of cards, she spread them on the table and started arranging them in a way I couldn't understand.
She continued the same thing for a few minutes and all I did was watch, she stopped abruptly and pulled out a particular card, she turned the card up (cause it was faced down) and it reavealed the picture of two lovers but it was strangely upsidedown.
Sayuri's face turned serious and she looked very worried, she pulled out another card but I couldn't understand the image on the card nor it's meaning but the worried look on Sayuri's face was beginning to scare me.
"What is it Sayuri? What do the cards say?"
She heaved a heavy sigh and shook her head
"I really don't want to say it and it's better you don't hear it"
"Ooh Please tell me, I'll be restless if I don't know"
"Something tragic is going to happen and I don't know when but it will separate you from the one you love, fate is about to play a cruel trick on you, you will experience much pain in the future"
"You and your lover will spend years away from each other but this same fate will bring you back together, the both of you are destined for each other and your love will withstand every hurdle thrown your way and it will never change nor will it fade but you must hold on and be patient when the storm comes"
I just sat down completely frozen and unable to utter a single word, I didn't even know what to say about what I was hearing, Sayuri reached for my hand and tried to calm me down.
"See why I didn't want to tell you"
"No I refuse to believe it, I won't believe any of this"
I've gone through so much suffering in life already so why should I suffer some more when I've finally found a little happiness and love.
I stood up from my seat, picked up my bag and started walking towards the shop, I halted half way to the shop when I heard Sayuri saying;
"You know I'd never wish anything bad for you neither would I curse you but the cards don't lie, I can only advice you to pray It won't be too bad when it happens and you should stay strong no matter what"
I continued to the shop and walked out the door without looking back, deep down I knew those card stuff could be true but I refused to believe it cause I wouldn't know what I'd do if something like that really happened and just the mere thought of it scared me down to my bones.

I tried to get my mind off what Sayuri said but I just couldn't do it, I got to a point where I found it hard to focus on my work.
"Good Morning Sunshine"
Hyunmin walked into my office carrying a cup of chilled Americano and a sweet smile across his face, He took a seat in front my desk but he creased his brows when he saw the worried look on my face.
"What's making my Sunshine frown?"
"It's nothing, I just have a headache ooh and thanks for the drink it's really relaxing, Where did you get it?"
"Stop trying to change the topic, I know something is bothering you so tell me what it is"
"I am fine really, I just need a break that's all"
He looked at me sceptically cause he could sense something was wrong
"Hmm! I don't believe you but It's alright if you don't want to talk about it now, I'll try to cheer you up"
He told me a few jokes and I couldn't stop myself from laughing, not because his jokes were funny cause they were really bad, but because he was making an effort to see me smile.
"That's what I want to see, the smile that lights up my day"
"Thank you Sugar, I really needed a good laugh"
"I only want to see you happy okay?"
I nodded my head with a smile
"Also I just realized that we haven't gone on a date since we started dating, so I want to ask you out on a date tonight. I'm sorry it's coming late and it might not be a date in a restaurant cause we can't do that for now but I'll make sure it's really nice"
We were both so preoccupied with work that we didn't even have the time to do go on dates and spend time with each other like other couples, to make things worse we had to keep our relationship a secret.
"I'm so sorry things are like this for us"
"There is no need to apologize okay? So our date will be at the Mansion and I'm going to prepare everything myself, I'll also be the chef"
"Wow! I didn't know you can cook, anyway I'll be looking forward to see your cooking skills"
"Trust me princess, you'll be blown away"
He stood up from his seat and stalked towards me, he placed a soft kiss on my lips and pivoted towards the door.
"I'll send Mr Changhak to pick you up by 8pm"
After that he went out the door only to come back 1 minutes later
"Michelle!"
I raised my head up from the files I was studying to look at him as he said in hushed tones.
"I love you"
I smiled and said the words back to him with the same tone
"I love you too"
I shook my head at how childish we were around each other, it truly melted my head.
The smile on my face faded as soon as I remembered something
"Jiyoona! I really need your help, let's meet at my apartment at 6"
"Sure Dimples, I'll see you there"

"This dress looks too simple, it's not sexy"
"Who said am looking for something sexy? it's an indoor date Jay"
"Precisely why you should wear something sexy"
I picked out a sleeveless knee-length, floral gown from the other dresses laying on the bed.
"I like this one"
"Why are you so against it anyway? It's not like...…wait a minute!"
She looked at me as if I've done something terrible
"Don't tell me you haven't been intimate with him like..."
"Aniyo!(i.e No in Korean) we haven't been intimate, not because I don't want to but I just don't wanna rush things like I didn't last time, you know how that ended"
"it's obvious he loves you but you're right, it better to take things steady and see how it goes but remember, you can't take too long cause you've been dating two months now"
"I know that and I'll know the right time when It comes"
"Anyway, I'll pick a dress for you and help you get ready cause we don't have much time left"
She picked out a white knee-length, off-shoulder gown made with fine silk and golden embroidery around the arms and hem of the dress.
"This would suit your skin tone perfectly"
I quickly started doing my makeup while Jiyoon helped curl my hair, after that I put on the dress and added all the other details like my heels, perfume, and jewelry.
"You look so gorgeous, his jaw is going to drop to the ground"
"Are you sure?"
"Of course, I hope you're not forgetting anything? Do you have the gift with you?"
"Yes"
"Then you're good to go"
I heard a car horning outside the building, I went to peep out the window and I saw Mr.Changhak waiting outside the car.
"Mr.Changhak is here, I have to go now"
"Alright, enjoy the night okay"
"I sure will, see you later"
I bid Jiyoon goodbye and I rushed down.
"I've not seen in a while Michelle, how are you?"
"I'm fine Mr.Changhak, thank you"
He opened the door for me and we zoomed off to the Mansion.

He raised one eyebrow at me, he noticed I was speaking in Korean so he replied with the same.

He walked up to me and gave me a light kiss on the lips and forehead while still wearing an apron.

I took of my coat and gave it to one of the maids standing beside me as she offered to keep it for me.
I followed Hyunmin to the kitchen, he hadn't finished cooking yet everything was smelling so good but that wasn't what caught my attention. The way he looked so freaking hot with his rolled up sleeves, huge body, vainy hands, the apron. (You know like Kim Nammjoon's kind of stature)
I mean how can someone look so sexy while cooking without even making an effort. This is just illegal!
If I was a cartoon character I would have fainted already cause my heart was racing like crazy.
"Why are staring at me princess?"
He must have noticed how I was practically drowning.
"I wasn't staring at you"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, how did you even know I was staring at you when you weren't even looking at me? you were so focused on what you're cooking"
He turned off the gas and suddenly started stalking towards me, he placed his hands on the table behind the chair I was sitting on, trapping me in between.
"I could feel your eyes all over me, so It wasn't hard to notice you"
He placed a kiss on my cheeks
"The Food is ready, I will go set the table"
I always get so flustered anytime he goes into seduction mode, especially with those intense eyes.
"I really have to learn how to do that, I can't be the only one getting flustered all the time"
I said to myself and then I followed him to the dinning.
"Mas-i eottae?(means how does it taste)"
I put one spoon of the food in mouth, I didn't know the name of dish but it tasted like paradise.
"Mas-iss-eoyo Seoltan (means it tastes delicious Sugar)"
"Wow! You're Korean is getting really good now"
"Gomawo, but really I would never have imagined that the esteemed President of Golden Builders would be such a good cook"
"Stop exaggerating, it's not a big deal"
"I know it's not but I now have another reason to love you cause apparently I'm terrible at cooking"
He chuckled softly and held my hand from across the table.
"That's okay princess, I'll cook anything you want, anytime you want it"
After we finished eating we went to sit in the living room, Hyunmin brought out a sheet of paper.
"Here is a list of all the things I've planned for our date"
He actually made a to-do list, I couldn't stop myself from giggling.
"The first one is done, but we still have Watching a movie together, drinking wine together, question and answer session, and I also have a special gift for you"
"So we are gonna watch a movie now"
"I will go get the popcorn"
He went straight to the kitchen and some came back with a bowl of popcorn.
"Let's watch a Horror movie"
"What! No! I don't like horror movies"
"Is My princess scared of horror movies?"
"Yes, I get nightmares everytime I watch it so don't you dare try….."
"Okay Michelle? calm down, what do you want to watch"
"Let's watch something romantic and funny"
I snatched the remote from him and I glared angrily at him, he raised both his hands to show he surrendered.
The movie was really an emotional rollercoaster cause there were some scenes where I laughed, some made me angry, some were romantic, while some made me cry.
"Stop crying princess it's just a movie"
"It's just so sad, how could he forget about her so easily when they spent so many years of their lives together, it's not fair that he remembers everyone else expect for her"

"If you had amnesia like the guy from the movie would also forget about me along with everyone else?"
"Firstly that's never gonna happen and even if it does I would never forget you, Why? Because even if my mind forgets you my heart will always remind me that you're the one I love"
He always has the right words to say, I suddenly felt better after what he said, he engulfed me in a hug and kissed my forehead.
"It's question and answer time"
I beat my hands on the table to make a rumbling sound, we both decided to sit on the floor cause it was kinda comfy.
"I'll ask the first question Sugar, Why don't you ever talk about your parents? Do you have problems with them"
"I'm not very close with my dad but I'm close with my mum, to the media and to the world my family is what you'd call perfect but that's far from the truth"
"My brother was the former president of the company but he died in a car accident, he was constantly being pressurized by dad to step down from the presidency because the company was having problems back then. One night he had an argument with dad cause he refused to step down without fixing the issue but dad didn't even give him a chance, he stormed out of the house and went drinking, he got very drunk and had an accident while driving back home"
"So that's why you hate him?"
"That's not all, he cheated on our mom a lot of times when we were younger, she would always cry at night anytime they had a fight but she still decided to stay with him. My little sister wasn't spared either because he never allowed her to join the company regardless of how many times she has shown interest because he thinks girls aren't as competent and perceptive as boys can you imagine that, that man is unbelievable! So now you know how messed up my family is"
I was really short of words, I didn't know what to say so I was walked to his side and gave him a hug.
"I'm alright gongju, let's get back to the game and my turn to ask a question"
I nodded my head and then went back to my seat.
"Apart from being my assistant, What would like to do in the future? Like a profession or something"
"I've wanted to be an event planner since I was a teenager because I've loved decorating since I was a kid, I actually went to study it in college but I didn't get a job as quickly as I thought I would after graduation so that how I ended up here. I'll never give up on my dream though and I would really love to have my own company where I will hire other event planner like me"
"My princess is very ambitious and determined, I like that"
"What about you? If you weren't an architect what would you be?"
"I would be an Idol, I've loved music since I was young but I actually started like because of my aunt Song hee"
"That's really cool, I'd love to hear you sing for me one of these days"
"I will princess"
"I have another question, What do kind of future do you see for us as a couple?"
He suddenly closed his eyes as if he was envisioning something.
"I see us spending years together happily, and this might sound sudden but I see as the woman I'll marry and the mother of my children, we will have many kids or at least three kids"
"Slow down Sugar, are you seriously talking about kids and marriage already"
"Why wouldn't I? you really think I'll wait till someone else snatchs you from me, no way"
"No one is snatching me from you"
"You can't be so sure, that reminds me, I think I should give you the gift I bought for you now rather than later"
He brought out a medium sized velvet box and he gave it to me, I opened the box and saw a beautiful golden necklace with a pendent encrusted with diamonds, the pendent was carved to form a word in Korean.
"The woman I love"

"It must have cost you a fortune, you did'nt need to buy this…..wait a minute! Don't tell me…."

I slowly brought out the red sweater I knitted as a gift and give it to him.
"I like it a lot and it looks very suitable for winter, thank you"
"I had knitted it for you a while back but I did get the chance to give it to you so I brought it today, I even used your favorite color but it's still nothing compared to what you gave me, I'm sorry 😔"
"Come on princess, it's not about the price of the gift but the intention behind it, you made this with a lot of love so to me it's the most expensive thing I'll have from now on"

He rushed towards me and started tickling me, I giggled so much that my omgtummy was hurting and begged him to stop but he didn't.
"Please stop it, alright I'm…. I'm sorry, please"
All I could do was wiggle like a worm until he accidentally fell on me, he stop tickling me and I was slowly getting my composure cause I was giggling so loudly. I didn't know he was staring at me the whole time until I tried to get up but he held my hand, he brought his warm palm to my face and gently caressed my cheek.
"Your eyes are really beautiful"
He stared into my eyes so intensely I instantly got flustered.
"Umm, I…."
He didn't let me finish the sentence before he brought his lips to mine, the kiss was soft and sensual but as we continued things got a bit more steamy, he kiss become more intense as he slowly moved to my jawline down to my neck and then to my shoulders.
My body reacted way too quickly for me to even withdraw cause my eyes were already closed and I bit my lips to prevent a moan from escaping, his kiss always somehow set my skin ablaze, the kind of fire water can't quench but it was all interrupted when someone suddenly walked in on us.
"Brother can I spend the night here, I had a.....oh my God!"
We were both so shocked, Hyunmin quickly stood on his feet like he was caught doing something bad while I adjusted my dress.
"Umm, I'm sorry for interrupting brother but do carry on, just enjoy okay"
She slowly started walking away but suddenly stopped and looked back at me and Hyunmin with a knowing smile.
"I'll try not to be a snitch"
"Kim Yujin, Don't you dare"
She giggled cutely and ran away with Hyunmin following behind her yelling;
"Come back here Yujin"
This is so embarrassing! I can't believe my boyfriend's sister just caught us making out in the living room and it looked like she was gonna tell on us, I pulled on my hair out of annoyed.

I tried to calm down hoping Hyunmin would talk to his sister.
