"Oh No! I'm so late, this can't be happening on my first day"
Michelle Parker is a twenty-three-year-old black American who recently got transferred from the construction company she was working for in New York to its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
Michelle was to report to work at eight pm but she woke up around eight forty pm, she frantically jumped out of bed and dashed to the bathroom, she quickly got dressed and walked briskly out of her apartment and quickly ordered a cab on her phone. There was a lot of traffic in Seoul that Monday morning but she luckily arrived at the building around nine forty pm. She was practically running to the building entrance when she bumped into someone with such force that she stumbled back and lost her balance causing her to sit on the floor.
"What the heck! can't you watch where you're going" she quickly got up to avoid any embarrassing looks from passerbys only to notice her clothes were a bit dirty.
"Miss You should watch where you're going so you won't bump into others" Michelle was already anxious and getting disturbed by some unknown person made her furious. She calmly dusted her clothes before she started yelling angrily.
"Today couldn't get any worse! Look at what you've done now, What the heck is your problem can't you watch where you are going, Geez! you've got eyes for God's sake use them at least and you can't even....."
She couldn't finish her sentence when her eyes settled on a very good-looking man standing in front of her with an expressionless face.
The man was exactly six feet tall wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath the suit and a long black tie. Every edge of his face was so perfectly structured from his nose to his lips to his chiseled cheeks and jawline, His hair was carefully combed into two halves and laying on his forehead which gave him the complete look of a Korean guy.
He had this very alluring and attractive look that could mesmerize any girl and Michelle was no exception, He was Godly Handsome! even though he had a very frosty and intimidating aura around him. It somehow made him appear more charming.
"He hem!" he coughed lightly causing Michelle to snap out of her daze and regain her composure, "I think you have nothing else to say, Miss, I apologize" he walked past her to his car parked across the street and drove away.
"Damn it, Michelle! Get a grip"
She breathed in and out three times before walking into the building.
An average-height woman in her mid-forties, dressed officially, was waiting impatiently at the receptionist's desk and said to Michelle with a slight frown.
" Miss Parker, you are one hour forty-five minutes late, this isn't commendable on your first day in our headquarters "
Michelle had already been told beforehand that she would meet Mrs. Han on her arrival at the building and that she would lead her to her workplace.
" I am very sorry Mrs. Han, this is my first time in Seoul and I got caught up in traffic, this won't happen again"
Mrs. Han then gave Michelle a warm smile after her explanation.
"Alright come with me Miss Parker " Mrs. Han then led Michelle to the elevator to give her a tour of the building's facilities.
