“ Hello, Cynthia. How are you?” Mummy Jane said immediately she sited me.
“Good morning ma’am” I hurriedly greeted. Surprised to see her awake and already dressed that early.
“ Cynthia, I have an appointment with someone at 8:30 pm. I'll be leaving the house soon. Please take charge. If you are confused at any point, you can talk to Phoebe- your assistant” The joy of almost being alone with Davis was so overwhelming that I tried to hide my face so that mummy Jane wouldn't read that from my expression.
“ That's fine ma’am. I'll do exactly as you said” She nodded satisfied that the house was in good hands and left.
When she left Phoebe rushed to me and we got talking.
“ I’ve been longing to talk to you. How are you? I hope you are enjoying this job” Phoebe should be about my age or a few years younger, so, I felt free to chat with her.
“ Yes, I am Phoebe. How do you enjoy living here? I hope mummy Jane is as good to you the way she is to me.
