My eyes slowly open to focus on everything around me. I am still in the hospital lying down on one of the beds. Something gently touches my arm to startle me. I look over to see the doctor standing right beside me.
“It seems you are doing very well today, Miss Dragomir. You are ready to leave the hospital wing if you would like to but I will not force you to leave. It is completely your choice and up to you.”
“What will I do if I want to leave? Where will I go?”
“I can help you with that.”
I look over to see the girl who was here yesterday standing at the end of my hospital bed.
She smiles.
“My name is Alexia. I can help you go to your classes and find your dorm room.”
“That would be very nice, thank you.”
The doctor helps me get up out of the hospital bed and has the girl come over to help me stand.
