One sunny afternoon, Lydia was at Gwen's house, humming a little tune to Pearl in her crib while she fumbled with making formula.
Pearl was a little hungry, and she was pouting and grunting, ready to cry at any moment.
Lydia held the jar of formula in one hand and the hot water in the other, with her eyes on the formula-making instructions on her phone.
"Put the formula in the feeder first, oh no, I should put the hot water first - wait, how many milliliters of hot water do I need?"
Pearl was already crying out.
