Nuri’s POV
Before the sun had fully risen, the cooks in the camp were busy. Today is my second day with Beowulf and I can't wait to get back. I sat in my tent, polishing my sword, thinking of my wife, Queen Sibyl.
I'm worried about her. I'm worried about the capital. Although I told the soldiers that we had to deal with the second prince in order to save the capital, which is true. But these days my heart is burning on a charcoal fire. I wanted to put the war behind me and take my soldiers to save my wife and my family. In the end, it was my reason that stopped me. Although it seems ruthless. But war is so cruel, it cannot tolerate the slightest impulse.
"Nuri, eat your dinner and go home!" Beowulf's loud voice rang out in front of the army tent. He opened the tent and strode in. A soldier followed with a tray of breakfast.
