Sibyl’s POV
When I woke up, half the bed next to me was empty. Nuri's gone. The sun shone straight through the window. The sun shines a little brightly. I squinted and slowly got used to it. It seems that I missed the time to get up.
“Amy…”
I called out the name of my maid, and my hoarse voice startled me as soon as I opened my mouth. I winked to ease my embarrassment and got out of bed to get a glass of water. I don't want to see anyone until my throat recovers. My hoarse voice is lazy and contented. This is so ambiguous!
After a glass of cold water, my mind cleared up a bit. But I still can't get up my spirits. I was so tired that I felt as if I had walked a thousand kilometers. My back was so sore that I couldn't straighten it up. Even sitting in a chair was hard for me. So I went back to the soft and comfortable bed.
