Sibyl’s POV
When I stepped out of my bedroom this morning, I felt something was wrong.
The maids hurried to Lowa's room with different things in their hands. When they meet, they look at each other quickly, want to say something but end up winking, then smile and get back to work.
Although everyone is still the same as before, I feel the atmosphere has changed.
There is a smell of gossip in the air.
Manolo？
I lifted the hem of my dress and trotted to Lowa's palace.
Turning a corner, my destination was right in front of me.
I heard a noise.
"I want to see the Queen," said a man in an angry, wronged voice.
"I'm sorry, you can't go in. The Queen is sleeping," said the female guard coldly.
"That Manolo man... did he leave last night?" The man asked again.
The soldier glanced at him. "No one left here last night. Her Majesty has ordered that no one enter or leave."
