Manolo’s POV
When I woke up from the pain, I felt as if my bones were breaking.
I held my waking position, slowly regaining consciousness for a while, and then I tried to move my limbs.
Thank God, only some pain, my bones are not broken.
I got up carefully and looked around.
This is not the bottom of the valley, but a huge rock protruding from the middle of the cliff. I looked up at the trees on the cliff above me and the leaves on my body and felt a sense of relief.
We fell into the tree. The branches and leaves slowed us down so we didn't die when we landed on this rock.
Wait, we?
Where's Sibyl?
I looked around anxiously, dragging my injured leg.
In a corner near the cliff wall, I saw Sibyl lying on the ground.
"Sibyl, wake up!" I called her name, holding her head.
She didn't respond. I put my fingers under her nose. Thank God she's breathing.
