Sibyl’s POV
After my bath, I stood in front of a bronze mirror and looked at my belly.
My waist is as slim as before. I can't believe there's a baby in there. I turned sideways and looked at the curves of my body, my fingers moving carefully over my lower abdomen.
My baby, mommy is playing a game with you. Can you feel it?
His senses may not have developed yet. Dalena said I couldn't feel the baby move until I was four months pregnant. By then, the baby will have developed ears that can hear my voice and feel my touch.
Oh, this is really amazing. My baby will grow in my belly day by day, sharing blood, heartbeat and feelings with me.
I've never felt so connected to a person in my life. My child is growing in me and will come out of me. He is an independent person and a new life from my life.
Maybe I should have prepared some maternity clothes in advance. Oh, God, I can't wait to meet him.
Wait a minute. Why do I have to assume that the baby is a boy?
