Manolo’s POV
After Nuri left, I couldn't wait to get to the door of Dalena's room.
Just as I was about to knock, the door opened.
Dalena stood in the room with a serious face. “I knew you'd come for me. Come in.”
I looked around to make sure no one saw me, and then I went into the room and closed the door.
“Why did you lie?” I asked her. My tone was anxious, even harsh.
“We lied a lot tonight. I don't know which lie you're talking about.” Dalena was calm.
I stepped forward, “Your sister, Raven, didn't drink the potion at all. Sibyl is not human. She has the blood of a witch. A few months ago, I saw her use her blood to resurrect the immortal flower. The immortal flower is a sacred flower, and if Sibyl were human, she would never have been able to do it.”
I'm a little emotional.
I took a few deep breaths and said in an apologetic tone, “I'm sorry, please forgive my rudeness. I really want to know the truth, please tell me.”
