Nuri is still as arrogant as ever, but he is not as cold to me as he used to be. He even showed some tenderness when it was just the two of us in the room.
I feel more and more relaxed. In this beautiful town in the south, I can get rid of all the worries that used to bother me, and just be a happy 18-year-old girl.
Oh, by the way, I found a rule. Every time after s.ex, Nuri likes to cuddle with me, stroking my hair and enjoying something with his eyes closed. He was always gentle at those moments, and he would listen to me quietly and agree with my words.
Last night, after having s.ex, I lay meekly in his arms. I pushed his strong chest with my hand. “Can you take me with you tomorrow when you look for the Dragon Scale?”
His eyes were still closed, and he looked relaxed. “It's too dangerous. Stay at home. If you're bored, you can ask your maid Amy to go shopping with you. I'll pay for it. When I find the Dragon Scale, I'll bring it back for you.”
