"What's the situation?" We heard Trace on the other line.
"Still in progress." I heard Aiden beside me. "Red is trying to enter a different server so she can block all the portals." We are not far away in the mountains. Enough for us to see Civita. We were right because there were a lot of people in Civita today, and because of this, we couldn't even go inside.
"We need X; he is the only one on my list now." Aiden let out a sigh.
"You know that you can't have X, Tiger. Our boss has banned him from going down because of what happened before, right? X can no longer handle any case."
"Damn right."
"You need to wait until midnight." Aiden's jaw tightened. It seems at this point he is running out of patience
"No, you know it's not possible because Dane's life is in exchange for this, " he said emphatically.
"Then what do you want me to do?"
"Ask the Alpha Trace; that's the thing you need to do. We can't lose Dane. You know that, don't you?"
