My cell phone rang when I was in the middle of maintaining my watch. I hurriedly retrieved it from my pocket and answered the phone.
Aiden is calling….
I continued scanning my left and right to be sure nobody had stopped to take notice.
"Hello?" I bit my lower lip. His slow, deep inhale coincided with the sound of the waves hitting my ears.
"Sunny, where are you?" he said with constraint. Fear is causing my heart to race. "Aiden, it's too dangerous here right now." I responded, lowering my voice even further, "You can't just go in.” When three armed men went by, I cowered down even farther behind the grass.
