" Just keep running Joker." I say. Jack Frost keeps throwing ice spears at us. We can't get close because of the ice storm she has surrounding us. Does she really not know about her real technique?
She's mentally making herself weaker and she doesn't even know it.

What the hell is this plan? We know her mana technique but all we are doing is running. Is he scared? Since our fight with death he's been acting weird.
*** 3 days after Baek's fight with Thor
" Who the hell are you?" Baek says while clutching his rotting arm.
" I'm death and you're the boy born from death. " Death says.
" You're out of control. You're an attack dog without a leash. It's time to chain you up. Learn some control and maybe I'll remove it." Death says.
***Present Joker
After that Death took Baek's eyes and his ability to produce mana. Baek has been fighting like he's scared. Like he can't handle fear.
***Baek
Shit she's fast. She blitz's me and appears at my side. She tries to uppercut me but I dodge it. Why is she getting in close? She was just keeping her distance and being wary of me.
Oh she thinks I'm weak. She goes in for a palm strike and I block it. However it still sends me flying into a wall. My body feels uncomfortable. What's wrong with me why can't I fight.
" Baek focus!" Joker yells. Numerous ice blades come at me I can only dodge a few. Multiple of them pierce through my body.

"Baek I'm switching with you." I say.
" Wait I ca-" I cut Baek off as I take over control. Baek is losing his mind. He can't be in control during a fight this important. This is his first loss I hope he takes it well.
" Joker get out of my way. I don't want to accidentally hit you" I say. Joker jumps back to get out of my chains range. I start spinning the chain in my hand. Getting it to high speeds.
" The fight will be entirely different now. Don't let your guard down" I say to her. She doesn't respond. I spike the chain after her. It takes off a chunk of flesh and she backs up.
" Next time speak when spoken to. I'm a lot older than you so show respect to your elders." I say. I can tell by the look on her face she's worried. Good she looks better like that I start sending my chains out everywhere. Connecting to every point possible.
Completely trapping her in my spiders web. She tries freezing them over. However the friction and the speed of the chains are heating them up.
Bouncing off the chains makes it easier to hit her. She leaves her back open for a second. I don't miss my chance and I strangle her with the chains.
The chains can strangle her themselves. I walk to her face and try speaking with her.
" Just join my team and I'll let you go." I say. Then I walk away. No reason to hear her answer. This must be the first time she's fought someone her strength.
Baek hasn't said anything to me. He's been quiet sulking. He's lost his confidence. He's a bounty hunter that works for free. He doesn't need the money either because of what he did with the slums.
" Joker let's go." I say.
***A few hours later.
" Where the hell am I?" Jack Frost says.
" Goodmorning Frost. I apologize for being rough with you. My name is NoTe and you are?" I ask.
" The names Jackie now let me go!" She says angrily.
" I need your help. With something please make a pact with me." I say.
" What do I get out of it?" Jackie asks.
" I won't kill you and you'll get to meet your father." I say.
" what are you talking about? I don't have a father." She says.
" You do. He's just been taken from your memory. Just like everyone else." I say. I hold out my hand to her and carve the pact into my hand. She does the same and we shake on it.
Black lightning sparks around us signifying the pact is in place. A mana pact is strong. If either person breaks the other person will immediately be cursed to death. None of us are exempt from that.
So if Jackie were to ever betray us in some way. I couldn't harm her. However Baek could. I won't let her know about Baek yet though.
" Baek I understand you having issues with confidence and fear right now but keep calm. You are the king of the forgotten. The lord of the shadows. Go into the shadows and meet and talk with every single one of them. Truly become a king. " I say.
" Show them why they waited so long for you." I say. Baek doesn't say anything back but he does go in the shadows. I release Jackie out of the chains.
" Joker introduce yourself" I say.
" Why did you hold back the entire time?" Jackie asks.
" My abilities have heavy restrictions. I knew it wasn't necessary to use them against someone like you. Since you aren't a threat that risks our lives." Joker says.
"Jackie you are very important to our mission. It is because of your mana technique." I say.
" My mana technique is normal it's just ice." Jackie says.
" No your father told you that's what your mana technique was. However, you're real mana technique allows you to manipulate atoms how you see fit. " I say.
" How will that help you guys though?" Jackie asks.
" You'll be able to make a hole in the prison that Wukong resides in. Since we can't break Buddha's seal." I say.
" Are you crazy? That's a direct attack on Buddha he'll hunt us down." Jackie worries.
" Don't worry by the time Buddha finds out. My teacher will be fully capable of taking him out. " I say.
" What about us? Just one of Buddha's attacks could kill us." Jackie says.
" Stop being so scared Jackie." I say.
These kids are being born with stronger abilities. Rev can manipulate mana however he pleases. Jackie can manipulate atoms. Baek is realistically around 6 years old. He's mastered every human and demon martial art. He's knowledgeable in everything and even knows witchcraft.
Lately he's been in a slump. He can't apply his abilities and he knows nothing of the forgotten world. Leaving him there for a couple years so he can mature will be the best. I've adjusted the time in the forgotten world. So by the time he comes out I'll have met with Wukong.
Wukong will finish his training from there.
