I've been the white mask since me and Kendra moved here. Saving people every night. I haven't told Kendra yet. I don't know how she would feel.
She's never just went out of her way to try to protect people. Not that she's a bad person. However, she has no interest in just saving people.
" Rev when are you going to talk to your brother again?" Kendra asks.
" Soon very soon. I just think he needs to grow some more without me." I say.
" If he grows too much without you. He might end up too big for you to recognize." Kendra says.
***Legion
" I'm getting worried about Baek sir." I say.
" There's nothing we can do about his arm and eyes. If death took them then it was for good reason." Lucifer says.
" Baek is dangerous he was born out of pain and death. The rejection of the world. Everyone rejects pain and death. " I say.
" Baek isn't embraced by the world unlike Rev. So Baek will burn the world to ashes just to feel it's warmth." Lucifer says.
***Baek
" Joker keep a mask and hood on at all times. I don't want anyone recognizing us." I say.
" If anything you are more well known than me. " Joker says.
" You're right so you can do recon until the sun goes down. I'll come out when it does." I say.
" See you later." Joker says.
" Are you going to mediate?" NoTe asks.
" Yes I need to figure out how to control my mana. " I say.
" But, will meditating from sunrise to sunset really help that much." NoTe says.
" Just be quiet." I say back.
***Rev
" Rev come on let's go into the Photo Booth." Kendra says.
" I don't think I can fit in there." I say nervously.
" Rev you're apart of the Borolin family which makes you a natural born shape shifter. You can control your size." Kendra says.
" You serious? I've never done that before." I say.
" It's because we didn't stay long enough for you to be taught it. You do it unconsciously all the time in bed." She says.
" You can control your claws so you can control your weight and height. Just shrink it's all mental." She says.
I successfully shrink down to fit into the Photo Booth. It's our first picture where the difference in size isn't outrageous. With her and Reznakov's help. I've been getting more in tune with my Borolin side.
Berlin city is beautiful. Especially at night there's nothing but happiness and love here. I've never seen such a vibrant city. I keep smelling something that seems familiar. I can't pinpoint what it is though.
***Joker
" Baek wake up we have a problem." I say.
" What is it?" He asks.
" Rev and Kendra are here. They haven't noticed us yet though."
BOOM!!
An explosion happens about a mile north from us.
" Looks like the berserker revealed himself on his own." Baek says.
" Let's go. Rev won't recognize me since my mana can't leave my body. I won't use any of my weapons either." Baek says.
" We should be fine with just the military gear as cover ups." I say. We nod in agreement and then leave.
***Rev
Both Kendra and I look to see rubble, fire, and debris. Everywhere there's people screaming and there's a couple dead bodies.
"Rev focus we have to help these people" Kendra says. I notice two black figure rush past. Where they the ones who caused the explosion?
I control the fire and extinguish it.
" Rev I'll help these people go chase those two. They are most likely the ones who caused the explosion." Kendra says.
***Baek
" Baek he's chasing us." Joker says.
" Kick it up a gear and don't look back." The berserker pops up in front of me. Again someone gets past my echolocation. He throws a hook at me but I block it. I end up getting sent through two building though.
This bounty will be easier than I thought. Joker grabs the berserker and holds him down.
" Hey isn't he supposed to get stronger?" Joker says confused.
" Berserkers get stronger with pain. With the way you are restraining him it isn't enough pain for him to start getting stronger. " I say.
" He doesn't look to be in the best mental state though so let's make this quick." I say while pulling out a knife.
" Yeah he's about to break his arm trying to get out of my hold." Joker says.
" Wait don't kill him." A familiar voice says.
Joker and I turn around and we see a man in a white mask. It's obviously Rev. Why is he hiding his face?
I'll just ignore him. I go to slice his neck but Rev does a quick draw and shoots the knife out my hand. Was he faster than me? He didn't have that skill before. He's been getting stronger.
" I said to stop. The next one will be through your leg." Rev says.
" That's white mask. He's been a vigilante for the past month." Joker says.
" Handle the berserker I'll handle white mask." I say. I try blitzing white mask and hit him with an elbow to the gut.
White mask just looks at me. My elbow starts throbbing is it broken?
"Sorry I promised my girl I wouldn't get hurt. " White mask says.
He swings his fist down on my back. I couldn't guard in time. I bounce off the ground and he kicks me. Sends me flying into more buildings.
Fuck I can't breathe.
***Narrator
Neither Baek nor NoTe knew how strong Rev really was. Since he became pure mana he was already breaking into the realm of the gods.
After creating a whole new sun. He has broken the wall. The wall separating humans from gods. He's currently a Demi god. Now what is it that separates Demi gods from gods? Believers.
The Rev that Baek is currently facing right now. Is completely out of his league since he lost his eyes, arm, and is unable to release mana.
