Damn he's faster than expected. These afterimages are distracting me. I have to calm down.
" Baek take this." I see Rev throw something at me.
" It's radiating god energy." NoTe says.
" It's the weapon Hephaestus created for us." I say back.
I unwrap the weapon I can feel it's mana resonating with mine. I start to feel the tattoos I have from the chains change. The weapon has a serrated blade on each end with a chain between them. The chain is loose and free right now but I can make it tense.
"'Got a new toy." Thor says.
" Yes I'll need a name for it soon." I say.
" Why are you fighting me knowing you'll die in the end. What the point in risking your life."
" You can only truly enjoy a fight when you are risking your life." I say rushing towards him.
I've never used this type of weapon before. It's fine though.
" Baek remember you only have one mana technique which is sound." NoTe says.
" It's fine. I have the book remember." I say back. Since mana techniques are engraved in the brain you can't have more than 4. However if you have an external source you can use as many as you want.
All the mana techniques in the book are extremely dangerous. So I won't use them yet.
However, if I feel this battle starts getting out of hand. I will use the book immediately. Time to try out this weapon though. A simple upwards slash should suffice.
" What kind of attack was that? It didn't ev-" The entire sea splits upwards interrupting Thor.
" Well damn you gave a small cut." Thor says.
"Hmmm." I say. I rush towards Thor and attack him with the opposite blade. It barely cuts him. The force of the rebound sends me flying. However a bigger attack slices straight through his arm.

"Rev how smart is your brother?" Kendra asks.
"Well at least on this island he's only second to Dr.Zikan." I say.
" He figured out how to use the weapon extremely quick. I've never seen someone get used to one of my fathers weapons so fast." Kendra says.
" When it comes to my brother as soon as he touches one. He instantly gains fundamental knowledge on exactly how it works. So he knows the best way to use it." I say.
" Hey be careful of the environment!" I yell.
***Baek
Thor and I are going back and forth. I'm slicing through everything. This blade is so sharp. It's cutting through the cells itself. That's why the sea is still split. It fits perfectly with my style of fighting.
" What a nasty fighting style. You know you should purely be focusing on winning or escaping. However your trying to inflict as much pain as possible." Thor says.
" Hahaha this is fun." I say.
" Your a madman. A rabid dog that needs to be put down." Thor says as he summons lighting.
" Remember just because he attacks with lighting. Doesn't mean it'll be as slow as lighting. It'll be way faster than that." NoTe says.
" It's fine I've analyzed his whole fighting style. I can blitz him." I say.
I wait for the lightning to strike. Then I blitz behind him using a thrust strike aimed at his brain. He turns around in time but the blade goes through his cheek. He stops it with his teeth.
" Did you think you stopped that?" I say. As the second attack slices through his whole jaw. The rebound from the second attack is crazy. It keeps sending me flying but it doesn't directly effect me.
I look at Thor and he looks disgusting. He barely has half of his mouth. He's bleeding everywhere. He looks like a zombie and not a happy one.
" Great you've successfully pissed off a god." NoTe says.
" He shouldn't have cut off my hair. Now I gotta walk around with a bald fade." I say angrily.
" His healing is a little slow. Why?" I ask.
" Maybe it's because of your truth." NoTe says.
" I haven't used my Truth." I say.
" You have an attack type truth. So as soon as you unlock it then it slows starts integrating itself into your basic fighting style. The more you use it the faster the process goes." NoTe says.
" He's coming." I say as his jaw finishes healing.
" He'll be fighting seriously now. So no more playing arou-" NoTe is cut off by the sudden change of environment. Also from the impact of whatever we just got hit into.
" Where are we is this space?" I ask.
" I think this is Jupiter." NoTe says.
" How hard do you have to hit someone to send them this far that fast." I say.
***Rev
" Where the hell did my brother just go?" I say confused. Thor disappears too.
" I think they are in space." Kendra says as she follows Thor.
***Baek
" Baek behind you!" NoTe yells.
I turn around but not in time to block . A kick lands straight in my gut. I get sent up in the air Then he hits me with his hammer. Where am I now?
It's cold is this Uranus? It probably is. Thor appears right in front of me. Why is he getting stronger?
" Baek this is getting dangerous. You might end up losing everything in this fight. You haven't even seriously damaged him once. " NoTe says.
" Only when you've lost everything can you do anything. " I say.
" Just surrender. I'll show you mercy for being able to leave a scratch on my armor." Thor says. How is he able to speak. He must be using his mana to force his voice through. He's so powerful space and time don't affect him.
" You're weak." I say back .
" Excuse me?" Thor says.
" Mercy is for the weak. Surrender is for those who lack conviction." I say.
" Now I'm really going to kill you." Thor says.
Now I see it so I was right. He's absorbing the suns energy. That's why he's getting stronger.
