"What's outside?" Kara asks while grabbing our weapons.
" I can't tell if it's a who or a what. It's showing a lot of hostility." I say.
" It's mana feels like Wukong's but evil. Like it's demonic." Kara says.
" Kara stay inside and hide. Just in case it is some type of demon. I'll go out there and handle it. Let silk know we'll be running late. " I say.
" Don't lose." Kara says.
" I've never lost a day in my life. I definitely won't lose in front of my wife." I say.
I walk outside the hut I was in and I see a man. His skin is pale. He has blonde hair with pure white eyes. He's wearing a suit but he isn't human.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"Are you Shaka from the Akan tribe?" The man asks.
" Yes I am." I say.
" Okay well I'm assuming the lady in that hut is your wife. So I'll be taking he-" I cut off his head before he gets his last word out.
"Damn you could've at least let me get the words out. Humans are always hasty to attack." The man says as he sends a swarm of bugs at me.
I can smell the poison that resides in the bugs. I slash through the middle of the swarm parting it but the man is gone.
He must've gone after Kara. I rush to the house but right before I make it to the door. The man gets hit right through the door. Did he think my wife was weak?
" The weak should stay the weak, you have no right to even look up to someone like me!" The man says.
"Where is my katana shaka?" Kara asks.
"Go back inside, it isn't safe out here." I say.
"Who is this attacking us?" She asks.
" It's some type of demon." I say reluctantly. See this is why I wanted to handle this easily. My wife doesn't listen to anyone who isn't on her level of power. However, right now since she's pissed she won't listen to anyone at all.
" You think I'm just a demon?!" The man says.
" I am the creator of demons, I am the thing that lesser men fear. I am de- " A hand goes straight through his chest from behind him.
"Sorry my clone was talking way too much. Plus he almost did something that could've ended badly there. I'll introduce myself. My name is Beezlebub, the devil of carnage." The man says as he rips his clone in half.
A devil? I thought they weren't allowed to leave the underworld. He's strong too. I've never encountered a devil before so I don't know how to fight one.
He has two spiral horns coming out of his head. Why does he have so many eyes like a fly? He probably has 360 vision of this whole area.
"Shaka back up, we don't know any of his abilities yet." Kara says.
The claws on his hands and feet look dangerous. We need to avoid those.
"Kara I'm gonna up the speed let's start act 1." I say. We both start running away, gaining as much distance as possible.
" Oh are you two running already? Well a real hunt doesn't start until the prey starts running." Beezlebub says. Kara and I have 4 acts. We only use these acts when facing a strong opponent. They are a combination of her blade dance and my tornado of death.
Act 1 the pathway. We both run away leaving a divide between us. The divide is big enough for the opponent to slip through. Depending on the way the air current is pushing. It could even make it harder for the opponent to get out of the divide.
Of course we know Beezlebub should easily be able to catch up with us. That's the point of it.
"Where are you guys running too?" Beezlebub asks as he appears right behind us. Act 1 works best on opponents like Beezlebub. People who think they are so strong they can just ignore other people's strength.
Beezlebub believes that he is the predator that hunts the prey. That we are the prey that cowers in front of the predator. He's wrong. We are the hunters that hunt the predators. We are the apex predators.
Kara starts off act 1 with a swing aimed at his neck. Beezlebub narrowly dodges it but I chop off his legs. He wasn't expecting us to be able to move so in sync.
Kara then comes up behind him and tries to cut off his head again but he blocks it. He's protecting his neck a lot. Is that a weakness? He hasn't realized it yet but he's been in a trap. The point of act 1 is to create a divide in the opponent's vision.
Essentially the divide starts with us all in a line horizontally. However as time progresses the enemy will stay stuck in the middle. As the line shifts vertically so his vision can't track both of us at once.
Unless he has eyes all over the back of his head he can't have 360 degree vision. He does have a lot of eyes but the most will be 270 degree vision. So as long as I stay perfectly behind him and Kara stays perfectly in front. This monstrous man will fall.
No one has ever made it past act 1 before and no one ever will.
"Man tracking you two is hard. It's been a while since I went against such an aggravating opponent." Beezlebub says.
" He's stronger than expected; he's still blocking most of our attacks." Kara says.
"Just start using mana, we can't keep avoiding it. This will get dangerous if we only fight with physical strength." I say.
"Impossible two inferior beings fighting me only with physical stats? Preposterous!" Beezlebub says angrily.
" You guys have to stop looking down on humans." I say. I land 2 sword strikes right across his spine. Kara lands over 20 all across his body. We both aim for the head but he completely stops both of our attacks. I then finally notice an eye hovering above us.
He doesn't have 360 degree vision. He has something way better: A whole bird's eye view of the battlefield.
" It's time to get serious." Beezlebub says
