I let myself be distracted from the fact that NoTe isn't here. I've been letting myself wallow in my self pity. I felt like shit and that I wasn't worth much because my father wouldn't accept me.
All I did was drink and skip training. While NoTe kept making plans and training. If this was before I had met my father I would've never let my guard down. I walked into this match with a bad mentality.
" I apologize Bami. I wasn't taking you serious the whole time. I'll change that now." I say.
I rush in with my guns heading into close combat. While using the normal skills I fight with I'm moving a lot better. Bami Is still heavily damaged but that just makes him more dangerous.
I have no intentions on killing him but he doesn't know that. So I have to subdue him before he puts me in a situation to where I have to.
I start messing with my mana while just unloading fire balls to keep Bami away. I keep configuring it into different shapes and textures until it is more of a blazing liquid.
Like lava but more solid and malleable. I notice Bami is preparing for a final attack because his mana output just spiked. I can't let him get this attack out so I shoot him in his knee then blitz him.
As I go behind him I grab him and suplex him into the ground. He just starts shooting out lightning to try to push me off but I just tank it.
I start wrapping him in the lava type substance I made. I made it like a rope connected to different angles. Bami starts struggling to get out then screams out in pain.
" The more you try to get out the higher the temperature goes up on those flames." I tell Bami.
" Is this how you plan on winning? By sparing my life when you're supposed to be taking it. I would've killed you why won't you kill me?" Bami asks
" It isn't always necessary to kill others. It is ok to show mercy at times." I say.
"You're just weak like your father said." Bami says.
" Boys boys is all this really necessary. Bami just admit your defeat you never had a chance and Rev I need something from you." I hear a voice from behind us.
I turn around and it's Joker. He is walking towards me with a deck of cards. He also has a lot of hostile mana being released.
" What do you want Joker? Aren't you supposed to be protecting Baku." I say.
"Nah I just knocked him out. As for what I want though. I'll need to take your body because mine is dying and I need another replacement." Joker says.
Before I can respond to him he attacks the crowd. Directly killing the people who hold the barrier that keeps the fights from affecting the outside world.
" What the hell is wrong with you are you trying to destroy area 4?!" I yell at Joker
" Not just area 4 I am going to destroy the entire Slums. By the time I'm done I'll be the only living creature in sight." Joker says.
" How do you plan on doing that?" I ask.
Before he answers I make sure to use my mana to make a wavelength that NoTe's echolocation will pick up. So then he can learn about Joker's abilities beforehand. NoTe will pretty much hear everything that I hear.
Joker starts talking again. " You see using these deck of cards I can beat anyone. Since they are not only my Cardinal sin but they are my Truth as well."
" Impossible you're barely 30 there's no way you can have both of those."
" Except I can. I was born with both. All the clover cards I use for barrier techniques which is what I have your brother trapped with." Joker says.
Joker continues " The diamond cards I use as shields and for defense. Spades are for attacking and Hearts are used to mess with your mind."
" Are you sure it is ok to tell your enemy how your abilities work?" I say.
" Yes I'm sure because you are going to die today no matter what." Joker says back.
" So what about the King, Queen, Jack, Ace, and Joker card what do they do?" I ask.
" Oh sorry those are special I can't reveal those so easily. Don't worry though I'll kill you before you get the chance to find out." Joker says.
" Oh man that's cute that's real cute so if you're so powerful and all mighty. Then why haven't you noticed the nuke I've left hanging above your head." I say to him
. As he looks up I drop the nuke on him but he does get a shield up. He used an 8 diamond so most likely the higher number the stronger the ability. That doesn't matter though I have to keep the crowd safe and make sure they escape.
I don't even have to beat him. I'm sure NoTe is pissed that he got trapped so as soon as he escapes he is going to want to kill Joker.
He would get mad if I took his opponent from him. I release Bami and make him help the crowd to safety. I turn around and see Joker wiping ashes off of him. He looks pissed which is perfect for me.
I need him angry. I start shooting tons of bullets at him as much as I possibly can. He blocks some with his shield but a lot get through it. The rest just tear it apart.
He doesn't just sit there as a sitting duck he closes in and brings things into hand to hand combat. Which he is horrible at.
Like he has a lot of mana to make up for it but his skills is horrible. He grabs me and holds a 10 spade to my throat while I have one gun on his head and the other at his heart.
"You are a lot stronger than I thought." Joker says. " You aren't as strong as you are hyped up to be" I say back.
