"Once again you come out early."
"This time I think I did fairly well."
"Oh I see, a possible talent then, for the 3rd test you know the way."
Behind the door, instruments this time, brass, woodwind, string, all kinds of instruments.
"Young man this test will be in two parts. In the first part, music will be played and you have to play it back as closely as possible. Afterwards, you will have to create a partition inspired by the previous ones."
"Roger that, sir."
The first part passed with difficulty, I managed to determine the various notes, their corresponding instrument and the intrinsic characteristics of these notes (pitch, length) but it took me longer to recompose the music in its own rhythm. During the second part I spent about 40 minutes composing 2 min, with 3 instruments, whose quality was rather mediocre. Fortunately my father taught me the basics.
At the reception :
"You appear to have had more trouble with this test."
"Ha yes ma'am but without efforts no comfort. "
"Oh but the effort is not over" she said while indicating the newly changed door looking like the one from the 2nd test but it is not a pair but a single individual that adorns this door.
Behind the door :
A mirror for medium I think I am not mistaken in putting myself in front of this mirror.
"Young man the test will be very easy, face this mirror for exactly 1 min, the image in the mirror will transform itself little by little to obtain at the end of this minute the actual image you have of yourself.
Very easy but nevertheless complex, I bet that some people ended up with completely distorted images of their self, such as a man with a head of the size of a watermelon or a child sucking on a breast.
My image moved from my hobbies to various moments in my childhood that left the deepest mark on me, to decisions that I thought shaped me into who I was.
"Not bad young man it looks like a 25 years old version of you I would say, either you are deep down more mature than your age or you see yourself bigger than you are, hoho very interesting."
This old geezer seems to be a wet blanket, let's go and see the pretty receptionist again.
At the reception :
" You told me that my efforts were not finished but in the end I just stood in front of a 9 years older version of me for a minute."
"You have... what's your name?"
"Mickael Amadeus, nice to meet you ma'am."
"I hope you do equally well in the next few tests."
