*Ash Pov*
The night before.
What the hell did I just hear? That's the note they leave their child. Get out or I'll kill you. They really truly are begging for the most agonizing death possible aren't they.
At this point I have to make them suffer just on principle alone.
Though what was that other thing he said? I turned back the feed and listened to it once again. "Of course I wasted my afternoon on drawing and trying to figure out how to bang Ash. Oh I really–"
I paused while playing it again. "trying to figure out how to bang Ash. Oh I— how to bang Ash–" I stopped it.
I let it return to the live feed as I went through his search history. I didn't see the need to go through it when we were together. Now I need to know for sure.
He's been more or less hinting at it. Though I didn't know if I should take it seriously or not. I didn't know if my heart could take it if it was a joke. If I can let him go once he enters my arms.
He did just get over that evil witch. I thought it was just a form of grief. Though if he is actually trying to be with me. Even if just for a night, how could I say no.
His search history was a bit mixed. I was riddled with research into building and architecture. Though since the day he dumped her he went to a lot of… questionable websites. He was never all that interested in pornography. Now he seems to be researching gay porn.
His actual searches were not specifically for porn though. It seemed he was just researching how gay sex works.
Could he be learning this for me? I sat back in my chair. If I take all the things that he has said and done… I don't think he's joking. I may have been a joke at first. Though it definitely isn't anymore.
It is kind of shocking. It is exactly what I wanted though. I laughed loudly. Finally, his focus is now on me. I can start putting in place everything I had prepared for this. Even though he never showed any signs of being interested in men I still had everything prepared for this day.
I'll have to talk to my father. He knows Jax's home life isn't all that great. I'll be able to convince him to help trick Jax into a couple things. Though trick is a little mean of a word. More like offering him better, while thinking everyone is offered the same thing.
Like company housing. Better benefits and letting us pay for his college. He was a little upset that Jax decided to turn down his offer for a job. He was even madder when he found out where he ended up.
I was a little surprised I got to burn it down before him.
I'll also talk to my Mother. If she knows that me and Jax are now a possibility she will not hesitate to help everything fall into place. They did always love the idea of him as a son in-law after all.
So who do I call first? I bounced my phone in my hand contemplating. Hm, Father first.
I speed dialed my Father, swigging in my chair leisurely. He picked up pretty quickly. "Are you okay? You don't normally call this late. Do you wanna move back home? Do you need more money?"
My Father's doting voice rang with immediate worry. Ever since I moved out both my parents start every conversation with worry. It was necessary however to do all the things I do for Jax.
I also wanted space to practice running a couple businesses without help. It turned out to be very profitable for me.
I chuckled. "I'm fine, I'm not calling about me. It's about Jax."
I heard shuffling around. "Is he okay? I heard about what happened. Does he need anything?"
I smiled. "He's okay ish. Well his parents went out of town for a job and decided to kick him out. He doesn't know I know, but he also got beat up again."
Immediately my Father started fuming at the other end. "Those idiots. I swear they deserve to go to prison. We should just call the cops. Even prison is honestly too nice."
I could assume at this point my Father is pacing. "Well, good news though. Jax is willing to go work for you. We can get him into some 'company housing'. He's old enough to be a dependent anyway."
"Hah. That little rascal. Finally getting smart. I knew he would come around. Finally he can get out of that terrible home. I'll set up an easy job for after school. Question is which place should we put him. Somewhere safe for sure. What does he think we do anyway?" My Father rambled excitedly.
I paused. I did tell him some very vague answers whenever it came up. "I never told him directly. He was never very curious about it to be honest. I thought it might scare him off."
My father sighs. "Well I can't blaime you for that. Thought that dear boy has always likes arcetecture and construction, I can have him do a simple job like ordering the materials. Give him some experience he can put on a college aplication."
I nod. " I agree. He would probably love that."
I hear my father chuckle. "Let's have dinner with him at the old house. Jax should have some some good food. It's been too long since I've seen him."
I swing happily in my chair as me and my father talk a bit longer. Then I call my mother.
She picks up immediatly. "My baby is everything fine? Are you eating properly? Did your father not give you enough money?"
I laugh loudly. She loves me more than Father for sure. "No everything is fine. I have really good news."
"Oh. What happened?" She said getting a bit more serious.
I lean back in my chair. "Well Jax dumped Lexi. And-"
"Oh that's wonderful. How is Jax though? He's probably devistaed isn't he?"
I smile. Ever since my mother met Jax she always treated him like her son. Actually sometimes she had a bit of a bias towards him. If I didn't love Jax so completely I might have been jealous of Jax.
But it's only right she loves him more than me. "Well I think he's okay. He actually-"
My mother didn't even care to let me finish. "You think? How can you not know?! Dear me, invite him over tomorrow. I'll make sure he gets over her quickly. How can you treat Jax this way honestly?"
I frown having been cut off again. "Jax might be interested in me instead."
Silence.
My mother spoke very tentatively. Not believing her ears. "Sorry, what was that baby?"
I smirk. "Well ever since he abandoned Lexi he's been flirting with me nostop. He even started calling me future husband."
I hear my mother take a deep breath. "Bring him over to the old house tommorow. I'll make sure that your right. If it's right you can finally be with him. I know you've always adored him. You'll have to take him somewhere nice on the first date. But not too nice don't scare him. And I know you two have always been close but remember to wear protection."
I immediatly blush. "Mom!"
I hear my mother scoff. "Oh please you're 18 and he's 17. But you better be gentle with him. I wont allow you to hurt Jax."
I turned bright red hearing what my mother was telling me. "Mom! Do you actually thing I could actually hurt him?"
Despite the embarising conversation I ended up being mad my mother thought I could hurt Jax. Jax is my god. I would sooner kill myslef than let him be hurt. How dare she.
My mother immediatly rebuked me. "Jax is so small an fragile. I can't help but worry about him."
I took a deep breath supressing my rage since she only meant good things. This was the other reason I moved out. My emotions went beserk since Jax met Lexi. Even to my parents.
I know more than anyone how fragile Jax is. I know exactly everything about him.
Except for recently. Though not knowing… is a bit exciting.
Once calm I responded putting my normal tone of a obedient son forward. "Yes I understand. I know. I'll be gentle with him."
My mother and I talked for a long time. Her giving me instructions. Sometimes making it sound like Jax was her real son. And I was a boyfriend that had yet to prove my love is true.
Eventually the call ended and I smiled while replaying a couple of my favorite sound bites of Jax.
"Hey Ash!...I got your back cover me!...Hey hahah that's not fair! Stop it tickles! Hahaha!...Nope you're my best friend…"
After hesitating I played my newest sound bite. "trying to figure out how to bang Ash."
I covering my blushing face and saved it as my favorite. Next to my collection of Jax saying "Future Husband."
I got up and laid in bed. I turned on the live feed and feel asleep to Jax's light snores.
