The assassin was right for calling himself the best early-game option to kill anyone. An assassin was highly volatile and could easily dominate the early game if he got the necessary exp.
But that strategy also had a big flaw. It required the team to focus all their resources on the assassin and to forgo any balanced development.
It would put the assassin at an advantage but had the risk of putting everyone else at a disadvantage.
He did not care much about what happened to these kids. But Tai needed to maintain his reputation so he could not allow his team to lose.
