The announcer called for the first pair to come. Olivier headed down toward the gaming chair since he was the first one to participate in this competition. He had only reached the center stage when he felt his feet tangling up with the carpet and he fell.
The fall was hard and Olivier reached out his hand to break it. That was a big mistake since pain shot up his arm and his wrist throbbed.
"Olivier, are you alright? Can you still play?"
Corrin asked as he quickly made his way toward Olivier and held his wrist up. It was swollen and looked painful as well.
"I am alright. I can still play and…"
"Don't be stupid, Olivier. You cannot give up on your future for this one match. What if your injury is serious or needs medical attention?"
