Olivier looked at his brother's pitiful expression. Nathan looked ready to cry as he watched Natasha leave the room. But when he turned toward Olivier, his expression was controlled once more.
"I am sorry that you had to see us fighting. But such fighting is rather common in most households. I am sure you and your father had your fair share of fights as well."
Nathan tried to explain the situation and make it sound more complicated than it was. Olivier just needed to take one look at everything to be able to tell that Nathan was at fault here.
Olivier did not know that, but his gut still said that it was Natha's fault. Maybe it was the numerous fights during his fast life that had trained Olivier to think like that.
"Anyway, I should get going now. Work has been busy as of late so I will not be home for dinner. I hope you have a good time today."
