"I need to skip school today. I want to visit my father's grave and spend some time with him alone."
Nathan had been looking at his papers for quite some time. So, his nephew's words made him pause and look down.
At first, he could not believe that Olivier had made this request. He was suspicious that the kid was cooking something when he asked permission to visit his father's grave.
But then Nathan shook his suspicion away. There was no way Olivier would be so devilish as to use his dead father to skip school. So, Nathan would give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Fine, I will allow that. If you want to visit your father's grave today then you can. I will call your school and tell them you will come today. I will also arrange a car to take you there. Will this be all?"
