The stranger was frustrated by Olivier's refusal. He had finally found such a perfect guinea pig who could carry him to victory. But all he got in return was a sassy child who seemed to not even consider his words as important.
'This kid might be good, but isn't he thinking too much of himself? Does he think he will be able to take on all the challenges and win over the others just because he won against me? How foolish of this kid to think that.'
The stranger applauded Olivier's courage. But at the same time, he was frustrated with Olivier's lack of care.
So, the first thing the stranger decided to do with Olivier was to break his pride as a good player. And he knew the perfect opponent for Olivier to face.
"Hey, give way. Let me through. I have someone here who wants to take on a challenge. Let me through."
