"Alright kid, we are in. You can decide how we play this match."
Once the match started, Lucas put the ball in Olivier's court. No matter what strategy this kid chose, Lucas was confident that he would be able to pull it off.
As for why Lucas let the kid take the lead? It was simple.
Lucas was a great player with incredible hand speed and tech knowledge. But despite that, he was awful when it came to game planning. It was his biggest flaw as a player.
He might be the 'so-called' leader of Winded Gliding but he was also the last player who should make a game plan.
Olivier knew this about Lucas as well. As a coach, he had tried so hard to make Lucas's planning abilities somewhat acceptable.
But Lucas had thwacked all his expectations with his disastrous performance. It was almost as if Lucas was cursed to never make a decent plan.
