Leonardo's convoy pulled into the driveway of their grand mansion. He turned to look at the woman beside him, his wife's new bodyguard, who had remained quiet throughout the ride. "Welcome to our home," he said to her, breaking the silence.
The woman nodded and stepped out of the car, her eyes scanning the property. Leonardo followed her lead and led her to the front door. He swiped his keycard and opened the door, gesturing for her to step inside.
"Sweetheart, I'm home," he called out, his voice echoing through the grand hallway. The sound of footsteps echoed from upstairs, and moments later, his wife appeared at the top of the staircase, her face brightening at the sight of him.
"Leo, you're back!" Hailey exclaimed, rushing down the stairs to embrace her husband. Leonardo hugged her back tightly, his eyes searching hers for any sign of distress.
"I'm sorry I took so long. I had to take care of something first," Leonardo said, his voice tight.
Hailey pulled away from him, her eyes filled with concern. "What happened? Is everything okay?"
Leonardo's gaze shifted towards the bodyguard, and he gestured towards her. "This woman is here to ensure your safety."
Hailey looked at the woman, who was standing at a respectful distance and nodded in acknowledgement. "Thank you for being here," she said to the bodyguard.
The bodyguard nodded back, her eyes scanning the area for any potential threats. "I'll be keeping a close eye on you, ma'am," she said, her tone serious.
Hailey smiled weakly, still unsure of how to feel about having a bodyguard. "I appreciate it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Leonardo wrapped an arm around his wife's shoulders, pulling her closer to him. "I just want to make sure you're safe, Hailey. That's all that matters to me," he said, his voice filled with determination. She smiled at Leonardo and kissed him.
Hailey led her husband Leonardo to their room, her mind still preoccupied with the events of the day. "Leo, I appreciate the gesture, but I don't think I need a bodyguard. I can protect myself," she said, her voice resolute.
Leonardo's face darkened at her words. "My Love, you were attacked the other day. I don't want you to get hurt again. Please, just accept the bodyguard for your safety."
Hailey sighed, knowing that her husband would not budge on this matter. She relented, "Fine, I'll accept the bodyguard. But I still think I can take care of myself."
Leonardo's expression softened, and he pulled her into a tight embrace. "Thank you, my love. I just want to make sure you're safe," he said, his voice low and full of emotion.
Hailey leaned into him, taking comfort in his embrace. She could feel his love and concern for her, and she knew that he was only doing what he thought was best for her.
As they both stood there lost in their world, Hailey leaned in and kissed Leonardo, deepening the connection between them. The tension between them melted away as they explored each other's lips, the passion between them building with every passing moment.
Finally, they pulled away from each other, their breathing heavy. Leonardo's eyes were filled with love and tenderness as he looked at his wife. "I love you, Hailey," he said, his voice soft.
Hailey smiled back at him, feeling grateful for his love and support. "I love you too, Leo," she said, her voice filled with warmth.
After Leonardo and Hailey shared their intimate moment, Leonardo realized that he had not yet given instructions to his head staff, Mark, about where the new bodyguard would be staying.
He took out his phone and dialled Mark's number, waiting for him to answer. "Mark, can you come to our room, please?" he said when the call connected.
A few moments later, there was a knock on the door, and Mark entered the room. "Yes, sir? How may I assist you?" he asked, his eyes flickering to the new bodyguard standing near the door.
"I need you to show the new bodyguard to her room," Leonardo said, gesturing towards the woman. "Make sure she has everything she needs."
Mark nodded and turned towards the bodyguard. "Please follow me, ma'am. I'll show you to your quarters," he said, his tone polite.
The bodyguard followed him, leaving Leonardo and Hailey alone. "I'm sorry about all of this, Hailey," Leonardo said, his voice apologetic. "I know it's not ideal, but I just want to make sure you're safe."
Hailey smiled at him, understanding his concerns. "It's okay, Leo. I appreciate that you care about my safety. And I must admit, having a bodyguard does make me feel a little safer," she said, her voice warm.
Leonardo smiled back at her, relieved to see that she was not upset. "I'm glad to hear that. But just know that I'll always be here to protect you," he said, his eyes full of love. Hailey leaned in to kiss him again, feeling grateful for his love and support. As they both stood there lost in their world.
