Chapter 95 - Divine Dragon

"Hm?" Tilting his head at the vermillion elder's words Tang Wulin couldn't quite follow. Blood essence was supposed to be controlled? He had thought its entire purpose was to flow throughout the body freely to strengthen everything evenly over a long time.

"Come with me, now!" Leaving no room for resistance the elder dragged Wulin out of the room, the pair suddenly standing in the training center beneath the building. If it weren't for Seto's wisdom this place would be caved in so he deserved a bit of gratitude next they spoke.

However, for now, Wulin would learn what the man meant by controlling his blood essence. It wasn't something that had even crossed his mind as it was odd as, in Wulin's mind, controlling his blood essence was no different than attempting to control his blood. There may be the occasional benefit but it was hardly worth learning in depth.

"Blood essence is aptly named as it is the lifeblood of us beast type martial souls. It strengthens us, keeps us healthy, and more. But for those with strong blood essence, it goes a step beyond just that." Slowly moving his hand the old man seemed calm yet space shook.

Slowly pressing his hand forward space rippled, a scarlet dragon shooting from his palm and dancing in the air before harmlessly dispersing. It was a magnificent sight but Wulin didn't care to pay attention to the beauty of it all.

'So you reverse the flow.' Mimicking the movements of the elderly man without a care in the world Wulin focused on reversing the flow of his tyrannical blood essence. It was a slow process and yet when his hand struck the air a small yet powerful golden dragon emerged. It flew through the air in a silent roar before crashing into and shattering the fortified wall.

It was immensely powerful however that wasn't the biggest benefit as far as Wulin could tell. It permanently strengthened his blood essence when he reversed the flow. It was so small that it was barely noticeable but certainly there.

He had found yet another path to strength. At the current moment though, he could see Gu Yuena being more relieved that it would speed up his recovery. Wulin found the former more attractive personally but the latter was quite nice as well.

"...!" With widened eyes the elder quickly moved toward Wulin, his hand once more placed firmly on his wrist. It was a little invasive but Wulin didn't mind as he was ultimately learning something quite useful.

Staggering backward the man couldn't believe his eyes even after what he had just seen. It was impossible. The skill he spent years developing was copied at first glance?! There was an innate difference between creating and copying yes but to copy it so quickly! He couldn't believe it even after he had seen it and sensed the boy's blood essence!

"I'm going to show you six skills, if you can copy all six of them I'll personally teach all of your class!" It was a risky gamble for somebody with limited time left on this earth but he didn't care, he just wanted to see how far this boy could go!

Nodding his head the boy watched carefully as he moved his body, his foot firmly placed on the ground for only a second before numerous scarlet dragons shot up from the earth and rose up into the air, their dominance spread freely.

Glancing at the boy the old man was a step too late, golden dragons already rising into the sky with power that surpassed even his own! The boy hadn't even seen the entire process and yet he was able to replicate it with ease!

"Next!" Shouting out swiftly the old man couldn't help but grin in excitement as he once more went through the motions of the next skill, his body blurring as he practically teleported to his destination in the blink of an eye.

With each second that passed the old man's excitement grew, his grin widening as he realized just what kind of monster Wu Zhangkong had found. In less than five minutes, Tang Wulin had absorbed all of his teachings.

"Is that it?" Looking toward him curiously the boy looked bored, his expression even as though he had just gone for a stroll rather than learning such impressive martial arts. It was infuriating and yet the old man couldn't be happier. Though he may seem bored, he could sense the boy's desire for more teachings beneath the surface!

"No, but it is all I can teach you. You must create the remaining three skills of the Divine Dragon Nine Moves yourself." Patiently explaining on the surface, the old man was internally extremely excited to see just what kind of moves such a talent would make. They would surely surpass his own after all!

"Mhm." Blandly humming in response Wulin wasn't exactly surprised. The moves so far were something like training wheels. They worked for everyone but they weren't exactly made for anyone in specific. The remaining three were designed to be made with the user's own body, martial soul, and combat style in mind.

"Now, since you've passed my test I suppose I should introduce myself. I am Zhou Shi, an elder of the Sea God Pavillion as well as your teacher's teacher. In other words, I am your grand-teacher." The warmth in his eyes made it easy to miss but Zhou Shi was one of the strongest people in the world.

Having a teacher like that was something that anyone in the world would envy and yet Wulin had more important things to worry about. While learning those skills Wulin hadn't put much care in control so the room was almost entirely obliterated.

'I wonder if I could get Gu Yuena to fix it for me?' It wouldn't repair Seto's arrays but it would be far better. Raising a brow at Wulin's lack of reaction Zhou Shi had never been met with so much disregard before.

But that was natural. Wulin was already an uncaring boy but he cared even less for strength. He could be a god whenever he pleased, he had the might of hyper douluo just waiting to be used and was the leader of an organization that spanned the world. How could he feel intimidated by just Zhou Shi?

Wulin's goal was to surpass the Dragon God, he couldn't feel nervous before somebody like Zhou Shi.

****

Hey there, hope you liked the chapter.

I'm sure it's been relayed plenty by now but Wulin is quite the monster. He saw his father using his ultimate technique, a literally divine technique, once and was able to copy it so these nine moves are child's play.
