After their meeting with Pephomemore Seto, things had gone quite smoothly for the Silver Dragon King. After the first and largest hurdle, it was smooth sailing. Imort had been quite interested in the crimson Spirit Souls and Hakm accepted because of her other half's presence.
However, she must say that she understated them. FUG alone was monstrous with their fangs sunk deep in all corners of the world. Pephomemore Seto was a scary man to be able to nearly single handedly raise such a monster group in a mere few years.
Of course, Pephomemore was not the only reason for FUG's growth. Pephomemore and his business acumen, Imort and his almost infinite knowledge in the field of science, and soon Hakm and his ability to quite literally resurrect the dead.
But the true source of FUG's strength was not them. They played a pivotal role and stood as the foundation of FUG but they weren't enough. When the group had been small and none of them were present FUG was still a force to be reckoned with. Why?
Because of their God of Devils. Unrivaled strength, the ability to lead, the ability to grant almost any wish, and much more. He was their backbone, the unrivaled leader, and their most wonderful god. He was their savior, master, and supporter rolled into one.
"You're making Wu Zhangkong's three word battle armor tomorrow correct?" Giggling at the difference in reputation and reality, Gu Yuena couldn't help but find her other half adorable. It was his every action that made her world so much brighter which was amusing considering his title as the world's Absolute Darkness.
"Mhm." It had taken longer than he thought to prepare, mostly because of his busy schedule, but he was finally ready. He had gathered all the materials required and Wu Zhangkong was more than ready to assist him.
"I see. I'll be rooting for you." It was a simple thing, one Wulin already knew, and yet it made his heart squeeze so tightly and his body felt warmer than usual. He could practically hear his father snickering proudly in the back of his mind.
However, while he embraced his glee, Gu Yuena couldn't stop herself from glancing at Wulin in absolute pride. It was difficult to tell as she couldn't look very deep but Wulin's blood essence had grown tremendously.
Their trips to the Spirit Ascension Platform weren't wasted however the most important attribute to his growth was certainly his own hard work. When she first met him, his body easily reached the strength of a rank fifty yet now she trusted that he could be listed at rank 60.
It may sound like a small increase especially since the two had reached rank thirty not long ago but the difference was more important than that. This was only the tip of the iceberg, the true results of his growth lay deep within.
She had heard from Wulin that his |Levels| were roughly equivalent to that of a rank 50, rank 80, Third Class God, and God King respectively. This was nothing more than a guess however she would wager that his current strength was quite different from that.
While the latter two were unlikely to change his first two |Levels| had almost certainly grown. As she said, she'd rank his |Level 1| at rank sixty and she assumed his |Level 2| to be nearing or perhaps already passed the level of a Title Douluo.
'I'll have to work harder.' Resolving herself once again Gu Yuena wandered through the halls of their school with her other half right at her side. They had been called for by Wu Zhangkong so it was reasonable to assume they had another task laid out for them.
"You're strong." Wulin abruptly declared, his eyes trailing over her body in a clearly analytical manner. She didn't know how he saw through her nor how he guessed her worries but it didn't matter, not to him anyway. The glowing smile she wore was much more important.
"Is that so~!" Gu Yuena had no doubt that she was strong, however hearing her other half's praise was relieving nonetheless. It helped that he wasn't wrong either, she truly was strong even when compared to Wulin.
Her worries stemmed from the fact that she did not have the same ability to grow at the drop of a hat as him. His |Levels| were a double edged sword but even a sword like that could be useful when the time came.
However, it was a needless worry. She was more than strong enough for most things and Wulin could easily make up for the rest. All she needed was time to grow strong and though it may not seem like it she was in no way lacking time. She was a dragon after all.
"You're late." The familiar cold voice of their teacher marked their arrival, the door hardly opened halfway when his scathing words reached them. By his side was an unfamiliar young girl who shook much like all those who knew Wulin did.
"Sorry, we got caught up on a few things." Shooting their teacher an apologetic yet insincere grin Gu Yuena practically dragged her other half into the room. In truth, they were only late because Wulin was smithing for so long but that wasn't something to be discussed in front of a stranger.
"Sit down." Ending the conversation prematurely Wu Zhangkong left them unpunished, a complete impossibility to most students. However, to those in class 0, his biased nature was well known. If it was anyone other than those two a punishment would be forced upon them.
Of course, the fact that Wulin was preparing for Wu Zhangkong's battle armor helped significantly as well. Their teacher wasn't cruel enough to punish his students when they were hard at work, much less when he was the one benefiting from it.
"This is Xu Xiaoyan, she has a month to prove she deserves to be in this class so work her hard. You're dismissed." As always, Wu Zhangkong was blunt and to the point but even for him this was much too quick. It was almost as though he was giddy for something to come.
Giggling with clear malicious intent Gu Yuena could tell exactly what their teacher was thinking even with his stoic face. He couldn't wait for his battle armor and didn't want to spare even a single second on them.
"Hm?" However, when Gu Yuena was brought out of her thoughts by their new classmate slowly walking over to her like a shy baby chick trying to build up the courage she was pleasantly surprised. It was rare that somebody could so boldly reveal their admiration for her in front of Wulin. It was certainly a good omen.
"I-I'm your biggest fan!" However, when the girl turned to her other half and shouted those words just about every thought in Gu Yuena's mind vanished.

Hey there, hope you liked the chapter.
Wulin... has a fan!? What has the world come to? In all seriousness though, I was originally planning on having her idolize Gu Yuena instead with their similar fighting styles. But then I realized how much better it would be if she idolized somebody like Wulin instead. After all, he can effortlessly do things she couldn't even dream of whereas Gu Yuena is more like a rival/big sister.
