Chapter 61 - Sea God's Failure

"It's probably because I don't have your blood." Wulin explained bluntly, his words coming off extraordinarily strange. If Tang San didn't have absolute confidence in his wife's loyalty he may have assumed something less than ideal.

"Did the Golden Dragon King overpower and devour my bloodline?" Tang San asked after taking a moment to calm himself and collect his thoughts. It was the only possible conclusion he could make.

It did make sense as well. The Golden Dragon King was an extremely tyrannical being, his blood taking on those same properties wouldn't be all that surprising, especially when his blood had much more volume than his own did.

Wulin was his own child, his own flesh and blood, and therefore inherited his blood however it was only a portion of it. In comparison, the Golden Dragon King gave his son every drop of blood he had, it was only natural Wulin's Sea God blood would be overwhelmed.

Such a result could have been avoided if his seals were formed correctly as it would have limited the flow of blood to his son, ultimately saving his bloodline but he had failed in that as well.

Now the Ultra Divine Tool that he had entrusted to his son for his own protection became a hindrance rather than a blessing as he had intended. His son couldn't use it, he couldn't even use it to prove his bloodline, but people would still chase after him in desire for the tool.

"Essentially." Wulin replied simply. What had actually happened was the annihilation in the Golden Dragon King's blood destroyed the half formed seals around him, destroying his Sea God bloodline as a result.

"I see." Tang San said slowly, a regretful sigh leaving his lips. His son had turned out to be an amazing man even at the young age of nine yet it was not due to himself. Rather, he had caused his son no small amount of suffering with his failures.

"It is regretful but I'm perfectly content with my life." Wulin said abruptly. It was a concept he wouldn't have even considered in the past but looking back on himself with a new outlook on life he could see it, he was happy with his life. It may not be perfect to others but it was to him.

"That's good." Tang San said happily, his disappointment in himself far from gone by his son's attempt to comfort him. To him, family came before all else yet he had failed his son endlessly, how could somebody like him be content with that?

"Can you explain to me what happened to the God Realm?" Wulin asked his father seriously. It was an important problem to him as his class' goal was to become gods. Accomplishing such a thing was not impossible because of him and Gu Yuena however he wanted to discover why it became impossible to begin with.

He and Gu Yuena would live forever with their status as Divine Beasts however none of those they have gotten close to would. They would all die of old age before becoming gods because of the missing Divine Realm.

That's why the two of them planned to find their Divine Positions and create a God Realm together however that would take a long time and a large amount of energy. If the God Realm of this universe could return that would be convenient.

Even if they would be working together, creating a Divine Realm would be difficult even if they may be the two halves of the Dragon God. In fact, it was only difficult because they were two halves of such a powerful being.

He was pure destruction and she was pure creation, together they could merge these opposite forces to create a Divine Realm however alone they couldn't even consider it, their own specialties would be their downfall.

If he were to create a Divine Realm it would be formed by his power of destruction and would be extremely unstable, the slightest touch being enough to shatter all his hard work. On the other hand, his other half had the opposite problem.

If she were to make a Divine Realm it would be extraordinarily stable however because of that stability growing beyond its base level would be near impossible, it would have no future beyond being a mere temporary solution.

However, by merging their attributes together they could form an extremely powerful Divine Realm perhaps even surpassing the one his father ruled over. The collision of two powerful and contrasting forces would have such an impact.

Yet to do such an act they would both need their Divine Positions or else the universal order would attack them making the process impossible. In the end, they were stuck until they found their Divine Positions.

"After we sent you off the Divine Realm, we were drawn into a black hole. I am not sure of what is happening after that as I'm only a strand of my main body's Divine Consciousness but I'm sure my body is safe." Tang San said with a small smile in order to comfort his son.

A black hole was a big deal, such a big deal that they were considered the Graveyard of Divine Realms, even if they were fine now it may not remain that way. However, he was confident in his main body's ability to survive the order. He had a goal to chase after all.

"I see." Wulin replied simply, clearly deep in thought. If the former Divine Realm of this universe was trapped in a black hole it is unlikely they will be able to return before most of his comrades die of natural causes.

If lessons from his previous life are to be trusted then time on the edge of a black hole one minute would appear to be seven hundred years. For the God Realm that is in the core of the black hole, time could be completely different.

By that logic, it wouldn't be impossible for his father to return however one must consider how long it will take them to return. Divine Realms are large celestial bodies, moving them would surely be an arduous process that takes an extremely long time.

'We'll have to make our own.' Wulin decided simply.
