Chapter 116 - Chapter 105: A Threat

After reading the messages that the Stultifera Navis has been sending. The Iberians were shocked while Ash thought that they are pretty amazing for lasting that long.

"Come on, let's go and loot. I mean save the ship." Ash let it slip and the inquisitors looked at him with a deadpan stare.

"What? Finders keepers." Ash raised a brow at them and they broke into a cold sweat. Realizing something important.

'He'd definitely take it and we won't be able to do anything. He's dead serious.' Irene and Dario thought at the same time.

"Mah, don't worry about it. I'll be using it as a blueprint to produce more battleships. You have no idea how dangerous the enemy is." Ash assured them, but he would definitely not return it.

"Ooh! Ooh! Come on, let's go check it out! It must be full of wonders!" Maria was excited to no end.

She isn't interested in weapons. But the ship itself, it's a technological wonder that was made years ago. But it is still one of the most advanced things that humanity ever made.

Aegir definitely had everyone beat in technology. The eye of Iberia and the golden ship was designed by the people from the deep.

"Come on, let's go. Lappland and Mudrock will be protecting the tower." Ash gestured for them to get ready.

"I'll stay, I want to be here. It's the last thing from our lineage." Jordi looked at the control panels with awe.

"I guess, just don't jack off to it. You look like you're in love." Ash shrugged and Jordi started coughing violently.

Ash made everyone fly and they were headed towards the golden ship.

When suddenly, a large hand tried to grab them. Ash and the others could definitely dodge it because it was slow.

But that was for them. Its hands were actually breaking the sound barrier due to its size. And it emerged from the sea. (pic)

"A fucking Kaiju? What the hell?" Ash blinked and it looked at Skadi intently.

"It's after you, go to the ship and clear it of seaborne. If it can move, sail away towards the eye!" Ash used his telekinesis and they were flung to the deck of the ship.

After they landed, everyone looked towards the giant seaborne which was made by combining the behemoth of survival's cells.

Seeing Ash as a threat that can beat Ishar-mla. The fuckers were upping their game.

The Kaiju roared and Ash couldn't help but snort. "You think you're a tough guy? You're lucky that we're so close to that ship over there, or I'll crush you."

The Kaiju then looked as if it understood the assignment and dived back down the waters. Heading straight towards the Stultifera Navis.

"Oh no you don't!" Ash relayed an order to Nian and in a few seconds, a large metal rod came flying towards him.

Ash then aimed and he willed it to pierce the Kaiju that was underwater.

It roared in pain and Ash could see the blue blood dye the waters. Making him click his tongue with annoyance.

"Motherfucker, are these guys really smart? These things need to be incinerated to the bone so they won't return their cells back to sea." Ash was getting angrier by the second.

He created a chain of ice and anchored it to the giant harpoon that he embedded on it.

The waters raged and waves the size of tsunamis started to disturb everything. Its sheer weight and bulk displaced thousands of tons of water.

"Get over here!" Ash pulled it out of the water and he formed a large spectral hand from his right arm.

He then punched it and the chest of the Kaiju dented inwards deeply. Sending it flying through the skies.

"What the fuck is that?" Irene could only watch in awe as the Kaiju sailed through the air and crash on the water, dozens of miles away from Ash.

"Shit, Mudrock. Make a perimeter of rock." Lappland wasn't clowning around this time.

They saw the large wave that was going to hit them. "Good idea! I'll reinforce it with steel." Nian formed a steel wall a couple of inches thick around the tower.

Mudrock then formed a thicker wall of rock around it, exhausting her a bit. "I think I'll worsen my oripathy if I don't rest." She panted and the two nodded.

The wave then crashed onto them, shaking the island where the tower is built upon.

"Son of a bitch! How can a seaborne that large exist?" Dario cursed as they held on, praying that the tower won't sway and fall like a domino.

Nian was the best at her work though. In the short time she worked on the eye of Iberia. She managed to fortify all of the most affected areas by the nethersea brand.

Ash thought that would have definitely delivered kinetic energy like no other. Due to physics, that kaiju's organs must have exploded he thought.

"Fuck, Murphy. My old nemesis..." Ash squinted his eyes as the Kaiju returned back and it was already regenerating.

It also created plates of chitin on its body. Making him glare at it.

"Come on, we can't watch him try to kill that thing! We have to get a move on." Gladiia sobered up the peanut gallery who just recovered from the massive wave that hit the ship.

"Kekeke~ So many sinners to absolve." Specter saw the groups of seaborne that climbed the ship by riding the wave.

And at the deck, they started spilling blood. With Gladiia beginning the first strike.

"Move!" She led everybody immediately and they started killing anything that moved.

Back at Ash, he was glaring at the seaborne Kaiju. 'I can't rip it apart, its blood will return to the sea and seaborne cells won't decrease. Every cell counts.' He thought of a way to dispose of the thing.

Ash then had an idea and took out his sword. "Heh, you must love the sight of that thing right?" He pointed the blade at the Kaiju and the excited smile on the mouth part of his blade was a dead giveaway.

So he began, slashing with his sword. Imbuing it with his energy to make vacuum blades.

The Kaiju roared in pain as a part of its arm got sliced off due to blocking his attack.

Blue blood spurted like a geyser from it and Ash threw his demonic sword at the place.

It gulped up everything in its mouth greedily. Like a fat drunk in Oktoberfest that got his hands on a keg of his own.

Ash made the molecules of the water around them split and he mixed the oxygen and hydrogen together nicely for a firework.

His sword went back to him and Ash snapped his fingers. "Art, is an explosion." A spark appeared all around the compressed sphere of air and it ignited it.

With a deafening explosion. A shockwave traveled through the waters and Nian immediately knew what was coming.

"Brace for impact! Open your mouths and cover your ears!" She transformed into her dragon form immediately and covered the island with her burning energy.

And then the shockwave hit them. The world seemed to be shaking due to the explosions. Tsunamis soon followed and Ash trusted Nian to protect themselves.

So he focused on the golden ship. The area around it was as calm as still water. Ash stopping all kinetic energy around it in a sphere.

"Go!" Ash threw his sword back to the shadow of the Kaiju and he was definitely dumbfounded.

It was still alive. So he stepped it up a notch and the clouds in the skies started to crackle. Black lightning starting to crawl around ominously.

"Divine tribulation!" He clapped and an eardrum busting thunderclap resounded as lightning hit the Kaiju.

A massive hole appeared from its place as the Kaiju evaporated into nothing.

The water started to flow to the hole again and Ash thought that they would need more firepower than artillery guns.

'That thing can only be taken care of by the Feranmuts. And it can evolve too, great. So killing them and not killing them doesn't matter. It's a lose, lose situation.' Ash frowned heavily.

Ash also landed on top of the water, putting a bit of blood from the ocean. He rubbed it between his fingers and he frowned.

"Fuck, this is also extremely toxic. We can't afford a ground war against these Kaiju bastards in the mix." He could only curse.

Even Paradiso's most elite warriors would pale in comparison against them.

They have to intercept these new beasts at the shores. And arm their fortifications with tons of firepower.

He sighed heavily and massaged his temples. "No rest for the wicked, damn you Murphy. What a spiteful son of a bitch."

Ash went to the Stultifera Navis so he could check on what's happening with the hunters.

__Stultifera Navis__

"We have to spread out, we can deal with these seaborne no problem. Skadi, I leave Specter... And Irene to you." Gladiia trusted her.

She was the strongest abyssal hunter, barring herself. Gladiia is just too skilled and fast to be Skadi's proper opponent.

The orca and behemoth hybrid nodded. She was feeling uncomfortable, but she could manage.

'Ash is also just nearby, even if everything goes wrong. He will be by our side in a heartbeat.' Skadi closed her eyes and put her trust on him.

"Come, let us purge these filthy sinners from the deep." Specter revved her giant pizza cutter and it glowed orange from the heat.

It was upgraded by Ash and Maria. Specter is the weakest among them, so they gave her an edge.

The buzzsaw she uses has a hardened edge made out of regenerating originite prime.

It was basically an originium reactor that was handheld. Containing even more originite than Ifrit's flame thrower that can infect the huge building of Rhine labs if it leaked.

An insane weapon for a crazy and bloodthirsty nun. The edges were monomolecular blades too. Capable of cutting through hardened steel with ease.

So the trio proceeded deeper into the ship in order to clear out the seaborne. While Maria went with Gladiia just in case, because she's a healer.

Skadi managed to unlock a skill from her assimilation of Ishar-mla's blood. She could heal abyssal hunters by providing them seaborne cells.

And due to her being the spiritual successor of the behemoth, she could suppress the seaborne cells so the other hunters won't get assimilated quicker.

Making their way through hordes of seaborne, The two hunters and inquisitor were surprised. "The ship's interior isn't that banged up. I thought that it would be crawling with the nethersea brand." Irene looked around.

"It's a bit suspicious even, this reeks of inside influence. And the ship has been sending signals to the tower for 60 years without fail." Skadi looked thoughtful.

There must be survivors in the ship. And they were the ones responsible for culling the amount of seabornes managing to climb.

"But isn't that impossible? What would they even eat? The monsters themselves? I've seen what that can do to people... And it's not pretty." Irene frowned.

The people of Sal Viento that got screwed over by poor economy and the church of the deep still lingers inside of her mind.

It was simply body horror. The citizens turning into savage beasts with tentacles jutting out of them.

And all those who were consumed by the flesh and blood of the seaborne couldn't be recognized at all. It erases all traces of one's humanity.

"Well, two filthy Aegirians and a hypocrite from the church of Iberia that still clings to the old ways." They heard a voice and a Minos that was wearing tattered admiral clothes appeared.

Irene gasped when she saw him. There portraits of the war hero that managed to sink an Aslan king's fleet from the past. But he was definitely changed.

One of his arms was gray with a hint of blue. A typical look of a humanoid seaborne. The thing even had tentacles on it.

"Dirty sinners are not welcome in my palace." He pointed his sword at them and they tensed up.
