Chapter 96 - Chapter 85: Another Wielder

"Woooow! I have never expected to fly my whole life! Suck on that Liberi! I'm the first Archosaurian to fly!" Tomimi was having the time of her life.

Ash was delivering her to Rhodes island to fulfill his promise to the crocodilian that she would be able to talk with Gavial.

And their radio towers were currently focused on Sargon and Ursus. Rhodes island which is on the way to Iberia won't be able to make contact with Paradiso.

"Well, how is it? You might not be the first Archosaurian to fly. Because Gavial must have flown in a low flying airplane. But you're the first to fly without any technology." Ash chuckled at the Archosaurian's reaction.

"Yeah! I can see everything up here, we're moving so fast too. And the wind isn't even hitting our faces." She closed her eyes and he let some wind hit them.

"It feels so liberating, I'm so going to brag to Gavial and Eunectes about this. You think they'll ask you to do it with them?" She chuckled and he shrugged.

"I don't know Gavial, you say that she's straightforward. But Eunectes might ask, she's a really curious one, that girl." Ash laughed as he remembered Eunectes get eager about all the materials she can use in Paradiso.

"Hmm, but how will I be able to prove that I flew to the skies like a bird?" Tomimi thought about it hard and he snapped a picture of them.

"Here, this is a phone. You can also show Gavial, this is like a miniature computer. A machine that can do millions of things at once, amazing right?" Ash handed it to her and he was amused by her expression.

She started checking it out at all angles, like a child that has never seen a toy before. But it was to be expected.

Even though they had electricity at Acahualla, they never did have any advanced technology like in Paradiso.

In their mobile city, even apartment floors were heated when cold. And the AC is centralized when they pass through hot places.

It would certainly be like magic, because arts weren't being used to do it. Enciades and the twin empresses even begged him to do it to their countries.

"Heh, I guess Gavial will be the first to see my flying adventure." Tomimi grasped it carefully and he thought she was like a cute kid. Didn't help that Tomimi is short.

"Come on, I can see Rhodes island in the distance." Ash saw the small landship and they landed on the top of it.

"Well, it was good while it lasted." Tomimi shrugged, but she was still disappointed. Ash didn't want to slow down after all.

"Let's go." Ash took out a keycard that Kal'tsit gave him so they won't have to fetch him from the roof all the time.

They entered the landship and Tomimi looked around like she was in a toy store for the first time.

"It's weird for you isn't it? Don't get separated from me. You will get lost in this place. And Rhodes island is full of strangers." Ash patted her head and she nodded with a bit of fear in her eyes.

"I-is this the machines that Eunectes was talking about? There are so much here... The thing that she made can't even compare. Even the walls here are metal." Tomimi put a hand on the wall and she thought it was cold. Making her a bit sleepy, being a pokilotherm and all.

They arrived at Kal'tsit's office and he kicked the door down. "Oi, I got someone that's visiting." Ash stopped Mont3r that tried to attack him with its scythe arms.

'Doesn't this thing look like a ghost type Scyther?' Ash observed the black, shiny Mont3r.

"Ash! What the hell are you doing? You almost gave me a heart attack." Kal'tsit put a hand on her chest and she thought that it was like Babel all over again.

"Oh, I can just bring you back. But you don't need that do you?" He gave her a meaningful look. She felt weird and Ash knew it. There's something suspicious about her and Ash thought she is hiding a huge secret.

"Ahem, so... Is it that Archosaurian?" Kal'tsit's eyes were swimming. She was panicking in the inside, fortunately; he didn't press further.

'Oh my god, he's onto me... Just play dumb, I can't jeopardize my mission that has been playing out for a long time.' Kal'tsit changed the subject and was thankful that Tomimi was there.

"Hello, I am Tomimi from the wilderness will tribe. Is Gavial here? Tell her that Tomimi is here for her." The crocodilian was confident and upfront.

"Gavial huh... She did come from Acahualla. Came here to get some treatment for oripathy really. Her calling was a doctor she said, not a fighter." Kal'tsit snorted.

A medic is one of their strongest operators. Kal'tsit thought it was ironic. Her instincts in combat far surpasses a lot of other operators. If she continued honing her skills and strength, Gavial would definitely be an elite operator.

"Well, Gavial really loved to fight. But she is also interested in medicine. I still can't thank her enough for saving me from that originium infested mine." Tomimi sighed.

"What? So that iron mine back in Acahualla has been known for years? Why didn't you just seal it off completely?" Ash got annoyed at their nonchalance about oripathy.

"Well, it was forbidden to go there once we knew it was infested with originium. Didn't stop Eunectes' ambition though." Tomimi explained with a shrug.

"Here we are at the medical facility, Gavial is here." Kal'tsit led them to the medical area and Ash was impressed with all their equipment.

Paradiso didn't need all that due to Ash's creation of the most important invention in recent history though.

"Gavial~ are you here? Your friend Tomimi came for you." Tomimi called out like she was looking for a lost child or something.

"She's certainly something huh? Well, she did grow up in Acahualla. Even Gavial is blunt and doesn't mince words." Kal'tsit was amused by Tomimi's actions.

Kal'tsit and Ash talked about their advancements on originium research and he got ambushed suddenly by a pasty white medic.

"Ahhh~ You are here..." Blood, or better known as Warfarin appeared out of nowhere.

"Ash... You know that we can get a restraining order for her right? I can just agree to it right now even without Amiya's approval." Kal'tsit deadpanned at Warfarin.

She was latched onto his back like a leech, she wasn't even sure that she could peel her off.

"It's okay Kal'tsit, I'm already used to it. Closure did went up to me in our first meeting and slurped on me like a juice box." Ash didn't really care.

Warfarin also can't pierce his skin no matter what she did if he don't want her to.

"Ash~ Please give me some~" Warfarin licked his neck and he sighed. She was harassing him, so he softened his skin in order for her to finish fast.

"I'm free." He shrugged and she immediately perked up.

"If it means anything, I'm really sorry about Warfarin's actions." Kal'tsit apologized as she gave the pasty vampire a disgusted look. She was high as hell right now.

"No problems here. At least she'll be knocked out after this." Ash shrugged and right on cue, Warfarin licked his neck again and dropped to the ground like an overdosed druggie.

"It's fine, she won't die." Ash checked up on her and it was a natural high from neurotransmitters and endorphins. Though she would develop an addiction to it, hopefully mental.

"Ash! Ash! This is my friend, Gavial." Tomimi beamed as she pulled a green haired Archosaurian. (pic)

"Ugh, Tomimi. You're embarrassing me." Gavial was like a high schooler that was found by her country bumpkin friend.

"So you're Tomimi's friend?" Ash then looked at her tail and he could see the point on why the others of their species would talk about it.

"What's up, you the guy she talked about? Thanks about being gentle with them." Gavial nudged him with her shoulder and Ash thought that would push someone normal to the ground.

"I see what you mean Tomimi, she is strong. Yeah, I'm Ash. The prodigal inventor, yeah? You should know why." Ash thought it would be better to be blunt with her.

"Ohhh! Yeah, I remember. Thanks for that good stuff man, I don't feel oripathy flare ups due to that at all!" Gavial smacked his back with her palm and Kal'tsit winced.

"She's... A little rough, especially on patients. Her bedside manner is horrendous. You don't need any anesthetic or paralytic when she's around." Kal'tsit scoffed at her.

"Hey, I'm fine~ I'm a doctor, not a nurse! All that bedside manner and crap isn't for us. We need to get the patients better, not happy." Gavial shrugged.

"I can imagine, she probably smacks someone on the face if they need to be unconscious." Ash took a shot at her.

"Hey! I'm not that bad, right?" Gavial asked herself and Tomimi laughed.

"Yes you are! Zumama is the only one that can keep up with you back in our place. She goes by Eunectes now though. She's Ash's employee now." Tomimi informed her.

"That fat snake huh? Does she still have thick thighs like your tail Tomimi?" Gavial laughed and Tomimi glared at her.

"Yes, it's still succulent." Ash confirmed and Gavial grinned at him.

"You courting her big guy? Then you gotta go through me first!" She was Gavial's rival, so she gotta look out for her.

"Uhhh, Gavial... Ash would beat the shit out of you. No kidding, he could blow on you wrong and you'd die." Kal'tsit warned her.

"Hahaha! Good one, Kal'tsit. He's huge, but I fought some guys back at home that's bigger than him yeah?" Gavial laughed, but she saw Kal'tsit's expression.

"Wow, you're serious huh? He's that strong?" Gavial looked at him with interest.

"Actually, he could look at you wrong and you'll get crumpled like a tin can under hydraulics. Honestly, he can just think of it and you'll be dead in a split second. That's how dangerous this guy is." Kal'tsit explained seriously.

"Then let's fight! Go easy on me big guy." Gavial grinned, she loved a challenge. And she was just exaggerating right?

"You really shouldn't Gavial..." Tomimi didn't know the extent of his powers, but she saw it firsthand. He blew up a damned mountain in a split second.

"Okay, she's not going to budge Kal'tsit." Ash suddenly smacked her on the face lightly and she got knocked out cold.

"Ash! What the hell!?" Tomimi got scared and she shook Gavial who dropped down on the ground.

"Well, if she couldn't even dodge that. Then it will be a waste of time. That's like so light too. I'm an endorser of gender equality you know? I have no problems hitting a woman if they deserve it." Ash shrugged and Kal'tsit broke into a cold sweat.

He could kill anyone there without them even seeing it coming, it unnerved her.

"Y-you feel fine right? No murderous urges?" Kal'tsit laughed nervously.

Ash sighed and he woke up Gavial with some cold water as he snapped his fingers. Gathering condensation in the air.

"Wha? Whut happened?" Gavial looked around groggily.

"He smacked the shit out of you, that's what." Kal'tsit deadpanned at her.

Ash nodded and Gavial laughed. "I like you! You didn't even hesitate!"

"Gavial, he smacked the hell out of you, you know?" Tomimi sweated at her friend's preference.

"Just a little harmless hit, I didn't even feel anything. He must have aimed it so well and struck me so precisely that he made my brain black out without resulting in any problems." Gavial analyzed and he nodded.

"You're pretty smart too, see you later. Take care of your friend, she'll get scammed easily." Ash said his goodbyes. Disappearing from there with a burst of speed, but the air didn't even got disturbed.

"What a man, he's so dreamy." Gavial chuckled and the other two looked at her weirdly. "Gavial, we have to talk about your preference. You might be a future victim of domestic violence..." Kal'tsit announced.

"Hah! Then it will be a fight everyday. But he has such pretty eyes. And he's ripped as hell, smart too. Even though his hair is long and girly." Gavial sighed.

"I have to protect your chastity, Ash is a womanizer! He has like tons of wives." Tomimi chided her.

They started arguing and Kal'tsit sighed, leaving her with a drugged out Warfarin and an Archosaurian that doesn't know how anything concerning technology works.

__Ursus Outskirts__

"Fuck, this place is cold! What does Ash think I am? A goddamned husky? I'm a Lupo for temperate climates!" Lappland was complaining and whining.

"Well, why aren't you using your AOS that has a heating component?" Enciades sighed at her.

"I'm no pussy! I'm Lappland ya know? Ash can walk around here naked and the ice will melt due to how hot he is. I aspire to be the same." She nodded sagely.

"This is a load of barnacles." Skadi whispered to Gladiia.

He sent the abyssal hunters to Ursus because they can deal with cold weathers no problem.

"Lappland, you're slowing down our progression." Viviana sighed at the clearly insane Lupo.

"I see some shelter! Come on, let's heat up a bit!" Lappland ran to some abandoned building due to the blizzard.

"That girl... She'll be the death of us, why did he even send her with us. This must be my punishment for leaving you and Enya alone for my ambitions." Enciades looked at Ensia.

"You do know that our god is here right? She didn't do anything you know?" Ensia pointed at Kjera who was at home there just like the two snow leopards.

"How can you guys walk around here wearing shorts like you're in Siesta?" Viviana gave them weird looks.

"I mean, this place is more arid than Kjerag. But it isn't much colder you know?" Ensia tilted her head like she couldn't understand why they were so bothered by the cold.

"We are wasting our time." Gladiia stated with her blank expression. They suddenly straightened their backs. She just has that aura that you don't want to mess with her.

"Our lord has given us a mission. We must complete it." Specter prayed for the sinners squandering their time.

"Whatever, let's just follow Lappland." Skadi sighed and they went to the abandoned building.

"Hey, hey, if someone burns to death. Do you think they get a discount at the crematorium?" Lappland was talking to a Sarkaz girl with a thin great sword. (pic)

"How should I know?" The girl just looked at her with annoyance.

"Aww, come on. Lighten up a bit, life is like a box of chocolates. It doesn't last long for fat people." Lappland patted her on the back.

"Lappland, I won't do that if I were you... I need to contact Ash immediately. That sword... It feels similar to his, Alastor, and Astaroth's." Enciades quickly sent him a message.
