Chapter 92 - Chapter 81: Tripping Balls

Kal'tsit and Ash went to Closure and Amiya. The vampire was currently fiddling with a robot that looked like a half sphere on wheels.

"That's Lancet?" Ash looked at it curiously and Maria nodded eagerly.

"Yeah, it also talked to us earlier! Closure is a genius I say." Closure got embarrassed and she blushed.

"Aww, I just learned a lot from Rhodes island too you know? I actually based Lancet-2 from PRTS. The AI of Rhodes island. And the thing that the Dokutah uses to guide operators." Closure waved her hand shyly.

"Don't sell yourself short Closure, I don't even have an idea how to create an AI that has emotions and can talk to you as if it's a person." He shrugged.

"Thank you for praising the greatness of Closure-sama." Lancet talked with a robotic female voice.

"Though, she did program it to think that she is their god or something." Maria gave a wry smile.

"Wait, I have a question. You're a medic right?" Ash had a philosophical dilemma.

"Yes, that is correct." Lancet replied and Ash squinted his eyes, making them wait for his next words with tension.

"Then aren't you an engineer? Because you heal humans. You're a robot, then for you to be a medic, you should be repairing other robots right?" Ash nodded sagely at his logic.

"W-what?" Lancet started bugging out, she couldn't answer the question. It made too much sense.

Everybody else looked at him weirdly. "Wait, if it was on reverse. Then a human repairing robots is an engineer. If they heal other biological beings, they're a medic or vet." Ash rested his case.

"Ash, you're weird." Kal'tsit gave him a once over, never expecting that he would be like that.

"Shut up, that thing you have is weirder." Ash stealthily pointed at her spine.

Kal'tsit didn't argue any more. Because Mon3tr is supposed to be a secret. Except for the select few.

And while Closure was copying the programming of Lancet who went quiet. They saw a gray haired man putting some instant noodles in his mouth.

"Uh, what is he doing?" Maria pointed at the weird guy.

He then opened up the flavor packet and grabbed a kettle with a symbol of Rhodes island. He poured steaming hot water inside of his mouth after putting in the seasoning.

They went quiet and Amiya sighed. "Dokutah, you should be sleeping right now. You used PRTS too much again." Amiya ushered him into his room so he could regain his sanity.

"Uhh, did we just witness that?" Ash looked at Maria and Sonus.

"I believe we did, never thought one of your leaders is a nut job Kal'tsit." Sonus snickered at the feline who groaned.

"I should've killed him when I had the chance." She squinted her eyes.

"Oh, that? Doesn't he do that regularly? Says it's efficient or something." Closure shone some light on the issue.

"Well, I hope he doesn't hurt himself or something." Maria's smile twitched.

They went quiet, awkward upon seeing the Dokutah eat noodles like a maniac.

Their silence was broken by a paper white, pale woman with red eyes. (pic)

"Hey, Kal'tsit. About the budget for... The new med bay." She slowed down after seeing Ash.

"Oh no, Warfarin's here. Quick! Run away!" Kal'tsit pushed Ash, but he didn't budge and he raised a brow.

"What? What's the problem with her?" He didn't understand and he knew after a few seconds.

Warfarin jumped on him and bit his neck. But unlike when he does it for Closure, Ash's skin is still hard. Warfarin cried out in pain as she felt like her fangs bit a goddamned ingot of steel.

"Fuck!" She writhed on the ground and Kal'tsit blinked, not knowing what just happened.

"I let Closure drink my blood you know? Even the strongest vampires can't pierce my skin in its natural state." He snorted and Maria poked Warfarin who twitched on the ground.

"Guhahaha! Serves you right, vampire! You think you can just drink anybody's blood?" Sonus had a mean streak. She really disliked vampires due to the sanguinarch being a douchebag.

Sighing, Ash soothed her toothache and repaired her fangs. They shattered upon impact as she was definitely going for a chomp on his neck.

"Here, I'll let you have a taste for our newfound friendship." Ash lifted her up and helped her get in position.

Warfarin then took a whiff of his scent, her pupils dilating as her pale cheeks blushed.

"Uh, who is she anyways Kal'tsit?" Ash raised a brow and the feline winced.

"She's a medic and researcher here in Rhodes island. Though, you know when they come from Kazdel. Her medical research is a bit..." Kal'tsit sighed.

She had to file a restraining order on Warfarin back then when they got the Dokutah back from Chernobog.

The vampire scared the shit out of him when she suddenly pops out of nowhere and asks for a sample of his blood because it was interesting.

Apparently, his blood soothes oripathy. And it interested Warfarin to no end. And people who come from Kazdel are a bit morally gray.

"Hngh~ So delicious! It's like demi glace. The flavor is so rich, so full of energy!" Warfarin hugged his neck tightly and was drinking his blood like he was a water fountain.

"Okay, that's enough." Ash pried her off of him. Closure wasn't that bad, he wondered if vampires that are interested in blood were more like Warfarin.

She was panting on the floor and she licked her lips seductively. Shivering from time to time which made Kal'tsit frown.

"Want me to fix her?" Ash was used to it already and Kal'tsit nodded at him with a pleading look.

He put a hand on her head and flushed her system of neurotransmitters that were flooding her brain.

"W-wha? What happened? You! You have to make me experience that once again!" Warfarin demanded and Sonus scoffed.

"You bloodsucker, have some respect. You can be executed for lese majeste right now." She had a smirk on her face.

"Uhh, let's get along please." Maria tried to defuse the situation.

"Warfarin, calm down. He's Asmodeus, the emperor of Leithanien. So no, you can't get his blood unless he gives it to you. And no, I won't ask him for some." Kal'tsit glared at her.

"Tch, you know me too well Kal'tsit, curse you." Warfarin clicked her tongue and she was thinking of ways on how to get her fix.

She was already like a crackhead that would sell even silverware from the house to get a high.

"Wait, he's the governor of Paradiso right? Ahem, good sir. I am Warfarin, you may also call me Blood. I can confidently say that I am an expert in biological research. May I come with you to help you with my expertise?" She elegantly introduced herself.

"Wow, she surely can change gears fast." Ash was actually surprised. She was like a noble, even more so than the pricks in Leithanien.

"No! You're needed here Warfarin!" Kal'tsit denied immediately.

They started arguing and Closure gestured to them that they were done.

"Okay Kal'tsit, I hope your mission on Iberia goes well." Ash waved goodbye and bolted out of there with his team.

He didn't want to get roped in with whatever Kal'tsit and Warfarin were arguing about. He already tuned it out earlier.

"This is your fault Kal'tsit! Now, how am I going to taste that amazing blood again!" Warfarin was genuinely having a fit.

"Shut up, we're allies with them now. You can try and go there like an exchange student and ask him for it yourself. But you need to return back here right after." The feline was done dealing with her and just gave up.

Ash and Joyce were guiding their engineers to do their work. Closure copied Lancet's coding into her computer and the pegasus was fact checking with the scientists so the new code would be perfect.

Closure typed like a neet that doesn't go out of the basement. She was so used to it that Ash thought it was like those hacker moments in movies. Which were obviously fake of course.

He nodded in satisfaction, they were quick. Closure would ask Maria on how to proceed and the blonde will cross reference with Joyce who knows everything about the project.

"Ahhh, I love progress. Science will rule the world." Ash could feel it, Joyce, Silence, and Saria would make huge leaps on their progress even if he leaves it to them.

Not to mention that they can brainstorm with the other scientists from Rhine labs. They weren't that good when they came in, but as men and women of science. Everybody learned everything they could and were at a satisfactory level.

Even Gnosis said so, and the guy is the bluntest person in the whole world.

"Hmm?" Ash received a call from Shining Margaret. "Ash, we have a problem here in Sargon."

He raised a brow, they were just there to recruit people and get some oil. "Well, what's the problem?"

"We actually found a congregation of tribes here in Acahualla. It's the rainforests, we were found by Archosaurians and we beat them up of course." Margaret chuckled.

"But Ceobe ate some shrooms and she suddenly ran away after she started tripping balls. She must have eaten them stealthily." Margaret sighed.

"Oh no, Kay is roaming around while high as hell? Any damage or aggression from the tribes there?" Ash raised a brow.

"Not at the moment, we think she's just roaming around like a maniac. But you know Kay, she'd eat anything. She might overdose on some more shrooms or something." Margaret ended her report and he sighed.

"Okay, I'll come. I'm going to track her down and then speak to the tribes there myself so we can get them to our side." Ash shrugged and ended the call.

"Hey Saria, you be the team lead here for now alright? I'm going to be at Sargon, Ceobe ate some shrooms and is missing." He massaged his temples.

"Must be some serious mushrooms then. That Perro can eat anything, she has a steel stomach." Saria was surprised that Ceobe even got poisoned in the first place.

"Well, it seems that her increased metabolism from my soldier serum can't keep up with it. And you know her, she eats everything. So her system probably got overwhelmed by toxins." Ash concluded.

"Okay, I'll handle things here. You! Stop dilly dallying and get to work!" Saria saw Closure whining.

He smiled and nodded. "I can trust you with them then." Ash chuckled at her spartan and no nonsense attitude.

Ash quickly left Paradiso and flew towards the rainforests of Sargon, Acahualla.

"Okay, where are they?" Ash quickly tried to locate Margaret.

He then saw a beacon of light and it was definitely Margaret's doing.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Ash gave her a kiss and Margaret sighed.

"You know, the usual. Sorry about this Ash. We let Kay go unchecked when you're so busy." Margaret frowned heavily.

"Oh, don't worry. I actually found a solution to my work." He waved it off and also gave Degenbrecher and Shining a kiss.

"So these are the Archosaurians you found here?" Ash observed them. The males were anthropomorphic crocodilians.

While the females are basically humans with the tails of crocodilians. With some scales here and there.

"Yes boss! Boss lady Degenbrecher and Margaret set us straight!" A huge ass crocodile wearing some shitty metal plates as armor and hauling a club of metal greeted.

"Okay, that's good indeed. Can you lead us to your leader? We want to have a talk too. Then we'll search for Kay. She should be alright, that girl's tough as nails." Ash believed in the Perro.

She was walking around in no man's land without any goddamned personal protection. Riddled with originium crystals on her body.

The girl is like a tank, she was fighting huge ass monsters in the wastelands with rusty knives and spears. All while having severe oripathy.

"Okay boss, follow us to our tribe!" The large crocodile was happy to lead them. Strength in those kinds of places was supreme after all.

And they're going to have a festival to determine a new great chief for the four tribes in the forest. So they would wish their help in it to win. Seeing their superior weaponry.
