Chapter 2 - System: Urith

Who exactly were the psycho killer?

They were generally the ones who commits murder or other violent crimes as a result of severe mental diseases, such as psychosis or antisocial personality disorder.

Sometimes, past traumas can have a substantial impact on a person's mental health and may contribute to the development of mental diseases that might lead to aggressive conduct.

But what happens if suddenly that person is given some power that can change everything?

The thought of bestowing unimaginable power on a psycho killer and assassin sent shivers down my spine.

They were aware that the possibilities for invisibility, invincibility, and beyond were limitless. It was as if they had opened their door and welcomed the devil himself to dine at their table.

The consequences of having such power in the hands of someone so lethal were mind-boggling. What devastation may they cause if allowed to go unchecked? The thought was terrible, but there was a glimmer of hope.

With this newfound ability, perhaps the killer can be persuaded to alter their ways and use their powers for good rather than evil.

"What the fuck are you babbling about, author? A glimmer of hope? The hero for the people? Fuck that shit! haha haha….. "

Deimos grinned to himself as he put on the strange garments he found in the closet. He had no idea whose body this had formerly belonged to, but it was now his to rule.

He felt a surge of power as he flexed his new muscles and stretched his limbs. Being in a body that wasn't his own was an odd sensation. But it was also exhilarating.

When he looked in the mirror, he noticed a face that wasn't his staring back at him. But there was something familiar about those features—a spark of something he knew. It was a glimpse of the darkness that had always lurked within him, yearning to be let go.

"Now that I noticed, I am quite smart looking and have a perfect body that will make any woman go mad to feel it, ehhh….

"I can easily woo any woman now, hehe…

Deimos looked into the mirror, fascinated by his own appearance.

His hair was a sleek black, and his dark eyes twinkled with a threat. His chiseled jawline contrasted with his pale skin, and his toned torso flaunted rippling muscles.

He knew he looked like a fashion model, standing at a towering six feet, and that any woman would be unable to resist his allure.

A burst of heat shot through Deimos from the place between his legs. His gaze shifted to his pants, where he noticed the unmistakable bulge of his aroused member straining against the fabric.

As he caressed it, a cheeky grin formed across his face, "I know, calm down for now, little Deimos; let us first know more about this world and this system.

"Then we will have a lot of fun."

"Now this system appears right before my eyes. It is like a game screen.

"Let's check it...

As he focused his attention on the system in his mind, the screen appeared in front of Deimos' eyes, presenting his personal information in vivid detail.

[Name: Deimos (Apostle of the Demon Lord "Lucifer")

Age: 18

Title: ?

"Hmm..." Deimos pondered, rubbing his chin as he examined the data on the screen in front of him.

He was familiar with the workings of games and thought there had to be more he could learn from the system itself. Perhaps he'll discover more information and acquire new talents.

"These skills? Are they from my past life?" He asked while hovering his hands over the system screen.

[Yes]

"Your name is Urith, right?"

[Yes]

"By the way, these stats, I am sure, should start with 10, right? Are my past abilities also affected by my stats?"

[Yes]

"This high mana must be because of my apostle status, I think," he thought.

As he scanned through his stats on the system screen, his eyes widened in surprise. He was aware of the typical traits such as charm and luck, but what the fuck is this—machoness?

"Oye! What is this machoness stat? Where the fuck does it come from? What does it do?" Deimos couldn't help himself and started firing queries at the system one after the other.

[…]

*tsk*

"I think it might be related to machoism and more manly pride... hmm... I guess it can work on women as well.

"And it's maxed level, nice."

"By the way, how do I level up?"

[By completing quests and missions assigned to you, hunting monsters, killing people, etc.]

"So where is my newbie mission? I have to level quickly, need to level up my stats, and then fuck some bitches."

[Mission coming soon…]

"What the fuck? What should I do till then?"

[Go out and take a look at this world.]

"Guess I should do that, thanks Urith.

"Now let's take a look at this parallel world of Earth known as Xthar,"

As he approached the apartment door, his hand reflexively grabbed for the doorknob, which he twisted open with a rapid twist.

He walked through the doors and directly to the lift, noting that it was on the seventh floor. Stepping inside, he pressed the button for the ground floor and waited as the lift began its descent.

Deimos leaned against the wall as the lift descended, his mind wandering. He felt increasingly irritated as the ride seemed to go on indefinitely.

At last, the doors opened to reveal the lobby. Deimos stepped out of the lift and strode towards the apartment's exit.

With a sense of detachment, he left the building and stepped out into the city's bustling streets.
