Chapter 1 - Meeting

A high schooler boy with blue eyes and black hair was standing in front of a castle like building that had a huge flag coming from the very top of the building to nearly the lowest point of the building.

The building was built like typical dark age -gray brick made- castles.

Had three walls that built like the castle itself around the castle, circling around it and themselves.

The flag had three stripes that was drawn in x axis, bottom stripe was blue, middle stripe was white and the top stripe was red.

The boy was standing in front of the first wall, had full black outfit, which made him feel over heated, and light armor with a sword on his hip and one in the back.

The light-metal armor combined with black outfit was slowly making over heated, he felt like his skin was slowly burning out.

"I finally made it here, Shirou"

An elf girl with blue eyes and blonde hair walked towards him , wearing a classical elven girl dress that had no armor, leaving her body pretty open, she was surely a magician considering the no armor and open body choice - at least she wasn't overheating herself like Shirou.

"Eina, I was here for more than an entire hour now, the guards were looking at me pretty weirdly, like I am going to explode myself or something like that"

Shirou said with a bored, tired expression, keep his voice low and pointed at the soldiers with one of his hands while he was trying to cool himself down with his other hand - using it like a fan.

"I-I am sorry I-"

Shirou interrupted Eina.

"Just kidding"

Shirou was looking like he is trying to not to laugh. Which made Eina's face go red because of anger.

Eina sighed "We don't have time for your little games, we should get inside, you don't wanna miss the announcement do you?"

"Right, right." Shirou rolled his eye.

Eina walked to the door of the first wall, shirou walked behind her, the guards allowed them in after a simple, not so much necessary, check .

In between the first wall and second wall there was many flags and warehouses, they go trough the second door.

In the place between second and third wall, there was -of course- many flags and not much of a thing that would be praised.

They finally get to the main zone.

"Let's get in shall we?"

Shirou walked into the caste itself, followed by Eina.

The caste was huge and it was cool compered to outside, which made Shirou relived of the overheating feeling.

In the main hall there was the statue of the founder of the Republic of The Cleides which was Cleide herself, with a sword on her hand pointing up.

The walls were extremely thick and that mainly was for one reason, the strongest warriors in the Republic, The Eleven's were curved onto them.

Shirou was looking at them in admiration.

"Shirou, we know that you love them, but we can't lose time so get here quickly please?"

"Yeah... I am coming."

They get to the corridor, which leads to the meeting hall.

The corridor wasn't very large, and it wasn't as detailed as the main hall but it looked like it was interminable in length.

On the walls of the corridor there was many portraits and arts of prominent artists, the drawings were mostly about famed heroes or warriors.

"Do you think that we would do good in the war?"

Eina asked to Shirou while they were walking down the corridor - to the meeting hall.

The end of the corridor felt like unreachable but they didn't really care as they walked down, observing and praising the arts and heroes.

"We would be the best in the battle, at least we should be."

Shirou said while one of his hand reached up and closed into a fist.

"Or else our corpses would rot in a demolished wasteland."

Shirou smiled at Eina.

"You are lucky, elves have great mana and magic potential, of course you would do good."

Shirou put her right hand inside his two hands.

"And I am here to protect you, so don't worry about anything."

Eina smiled at Shirou, her cheeks turned into a soft, light shade of pink that reminded Shirou of sakura flowers.

"Here at last, felt like it was going eternally."

Shirou opened the meeting hall's door and got in with Eina, there was unbelievably exaggerated amount of people in the room, most of them was sitting on chairs, the hall was really large but the crowd was as large too.

The instructure of the hall could not be observed because of the crowd, the only thing that they could observe was the ceiling -which looked like a normal ceiling except the golden colored curves that goes inside in long oval shape.

"...Oh... At least one thousand."

Eina's face couldnt be read while she said this, looking at Shirou.

"The general will announce something important about us, the young warriors, so I can understand a little, but it's stil..."

Shirou, without giving an answer, hold her arm to drag her with him and started to look for seats to sit on.

"Yeah, most of them probably came because of the castle, not the actual announcement."

He sat down next to a full armored knight that looked like he was in great pain -probably because of the crowd, he was feeling sick- Eina sat down next to Shirou which was next to a silver haired elf that was dressed pretty openly, so it would be safe to say that she was a mage too.

The elf was looking like she did not care about the crowd at all, sitting over confident with her legs crossed, she gave a glare to Shirou and Eina while they were sitting.

"Why does this girl look at us like she plans something?"

Eina was whispering with a soft-gentle voice.

"How could I know, just don't mind it.

Only thing that is important here is the announcement that general will announce and that's it."

"I know, I know. It just... made me feel weird.

What do you think general will announce?"

Eina didn't whisper this time, asking in her normal voice.

"Something about the war."

Eina glared into Shirou's soul when he gave that answer.

"What a mystery you solved there, no one could have guessed so."

The silver haired elf interrupted them, she was looking at them with a weird smile -That wasn't a happiness smile-

"The situation of the war is horrible, Ressca could declare war to our nation too.

That's why most of the strong nations in the world became allies to stop Ressca.

The young warriors will probably be sent to another countries to either help or train."

Shirou and Eina looked at her in surprise and a little bit of a shock in their face.

"How do you know that much and how would we believe you that all of these you said are true?"

Eina's voice was calm yet piercing, it seem that she really didn't like this girl at all.

"And how would Ressca became so powerful in just 6 months that it would couse a global threat?"

Shirou's voice wasn't such like Eina's, he said it like he was willing to listen more and understand.

"Just wait, you will see."

The girl turned her head to the stage -which is the place that general will do his announcement.

Before much time passed, the general's foot steps could be heard, while crowd got silent he walked towards to the stage.
