(POV. Author)
It was the middle of the night and silence reigned in the snowy and icy village.
Each hut was silent and immersed in the darkness of the night.
The cattle stables were closed and quiet. Except one.
One of the stables was very close to the forest, and inside of it there was a constant bleating.
A sheep, was on the ground and had just given birth to a lamb, fat and dirty with blood and amniotic fluid, after being licked with care by the mother, its mantle had become snow-white, it had two very large and clear black eyes.
The little lamb could barely stand and could hardly walk. The other sheeps in the stable looked curiously at the newcomer approaching to smell it.
From the darkness of the forest there was a sound of footsteps and a voice whispering a mysterious melody. A very sweet and slow song, almost a lullaby :
"mmm... in the deepest night, do you know who will come?...
a mysterious woman who will smile at you...
... milk-colored skin that will shine....
...will reflect the full moon that illuminates the sky....
...by the whispering voice from her lips...
...you'll close your eyes and listen to her..."
The figure wandered in the forest. It was covered with a black cloak that merged with the darkness.
"Mmm...in the quietest night, you know who will come..
a harmless maiden who will look at you...
...pitch-colored hair melted into the darkness..
...her ink-colored eyes. She'll hypnotize you...
...from her hands she will wave a web...
... she will wait for her prey, do you know what she will do?..."
At one point the figure stopped and turned around. Behind it there was a black hare.
The figure then bowed to the hare and continued its journey. Always humming.
"mmm...will show her true nature...
...wait until the time comes...
...she'll make a deal and she'll tempt you...
...but be careful, because she may deceive you..
...and in her clutches she will have you, you know what she will do to you?..."
The figure came closer and closer to the village, he had almost reached its goal.
"mmm...and you'll be afraid of her...
...disaster will fall upon you...
...you will deny who created you...
...you'll regret believing...
...and you will wait. You will wait for your fate..."
It was close. Very close.
"mmm...once she's done...
...who has fed on you, do you know what she will do?..
... she will return to the forest. Lurking...
... she will put on her fallen camouflage...
.... and she will wait. will wait for her next prey...
The figure stopped. It had arrived at its destination.
The figure came out of the forest and exposed itself to the moonlight.
It was a woman, very beautiful, she had very clear skin, her hair was black as coal the same color as her eyes, they looked with disguised innocence at the village.
Her face was complemented by a smile, her teeth looked like pearls, and her lips seemed dyed with blood.
Her voluptuous figure wandered elegantly towards the village, precisely towards the stable. She reached the stable which was closed.
Suddenly the figure of the woman shrunk, until it turned into a crow. She flew behind the stable and entered through a small window.
Once she was inside, she turned back into a woman. The woman looked around and stared at the lamb. The latter, intrigued, approaches her, while the others sheeps keep away from her, afraid of that strange presence. The mother of the lamb noticed that her child was too close to that creature, and tried to call it to herself, but without success.
The woman followed the lamb with her eyes, and once at hand, took it and squeezed it to the chest, the latter frightened squealed, similar to the cries of a newborn. But the woman squeezed its snout, preventing him from shouting, then with the other hand she tightened its neck, and with superhuman strength, broke it.
The lamb stopped wriggling and stiffened, dangling from her hands.
The latter pulled out of the mantle a strange object, a kind of sickle, but unlike the latter this was smaller and had a thicker blade, resembling a crescent, the handle seemed to be made of bone, and above it had inscriptions made in an unknown language.
Then she also took a small bowl, it was made of copper and on it were depicted a reversed pentagram and in the middle of it two crescents. She put the bowl on the ground.
Once these objects were out on the ground, she took the small scythe again, placed it on the lamb's throat and, with a clean cut, took off its head from the body, causing it to fall to the ground. The blood immediately came out of its veins and began to dye the straw that was present on the ground.
Then she took the bowl and put it on the ground, she took the lamb by its hind legs, she placed it over the bowl and filled the latter with its blood.
When it was full, she laid the lamb's body on the ground and gutted it, cutting it with the sickle from the throat to the belly.
She placed the scythe on the ground ,and with both hands she began to examine the lamb insides and once she found what she was looking for, she took it and tore it from the animal.
The beautiful hands of the woman held the heart of the little lamb.
Once she caught it, she put the organ next to the bowl.
She took off her cloak, dropped it on the ground, then bent down to the ground, dipped her fingers in blood and began to draw on the ground: she drew a circle and then drew an upside down five-pointed star inside.
Then she put the bowl and the heart inside, the head of the lamb in the center of the pentacle, then she laid her forehead on the ground and began to speak:
Once the pray was over, the woman raised her head and knelt down, she took the heart, put it in her mouth and swallowed it whole, then took the blood and drank it greedily.
Once the ritual was completed, she got up, went to the entrance of the stable, took away what blocked the doors and opened them, letting out the cattle, which scattered towards the snowy meadow. She took the lantern inside the stable, lit it and threw it on the ground, then returned to the forest.
Once she reached the entrance to the forest, she turned around and paused for a moment to watch the flames swallowing the stable. Then she was gone. To where she came from.
Perched on a branch, there was a large crow with pitch-colored feathers, it had a very pointed beak, and two eyes as red as the blood in which the figure of the woman entering the forest was reflected...
A curse was about to fall on the village and its inhabitants...
