Watching Ashton and Gabe fight should have been thrilling for the young Lycan, but instead, he watched them with a bored face, like he had other things to do, other places to be and maybe he was right.
He did have other places to be. He was staring at them while his mind was plagued with thoughts of Kosta. Tamiko may have shown a brave face when Kosta left earlier, but he knew what he had done wasn't pleasing at all.
The Lycan chief had been kind to him, nice to him, a good Erasthai to him regardless of everything. Kosta hadn't treated him differently and yet even with all that, Tamiko had failed the bare minimum.
