Jeff plugged the USB into the PC and opened Google.
He downloaded Unity, one of the best game development software available, and saved the files onto his USB drive.
After the download was complete, Jeff started working on replicating Minecraft.
Jeff opened the application and his fingers danced across the keyboard as he began programming his version of Minecraft.
For the first hour, he focused on replicating the game's basic mechanics, such as the block-breaking and inventory systems.
With each line of code he wrote, Jeff's excitement grew. He couldn't wait to see his creation come to life.
Jeff was completely engrossed in his programming, typing away on his keyboard with lightning-fast speed.
He was so focused that he didn't even realize that a group of people had gathered behind him, watching in awe as they saw the line of coding kept moving up.
As Jeff continued to work, the crowd grew larger, and some even began to record him on their phones.
Jeff didn't notice this because he was so engrossed in programming. Jeff was in the so called zone, and his godly programming skills were on full display.
As the second hour approached, Jeff began working on the game's aesthetics.
He spent time designing the block textures and character skins, making sure they were faithful to the original game while still putting his own spin on them.
For three hours straight, Jeff continued to work tirelessly, creating each element of the game with precision and accuracy.
He carefully coded every block, every creature, and every item until the game was nearly complete.
Jeff leaned back in his chair and admired his work.
He had created only 80% of Minecraft from scratch, and it was all thanks to his godly programming skills.
Finally, as the clock struck noon, Jeff stopped typing and leaned back in his chair, feeling satisfied with his work.
Only then did he notice the crowd of people behind him, was totally shock with his incredible programming skills.
Jeff sprang up from his seat and hastily transferred all of his files onto his USB drive.
He then wiped all evidence of his programming from the computer, leaving no trace for anyone to find.
Feeling slightly overwhelmed, he slipped away from the bustling crowd and paid the computer shop owner a mere 67₱ for his time.
He then bolted outside, running away from the cheers and adulation.
Jeff was not the type to seek out the limelight. He was a bit shy and felt uneasy when receiving praise.
As he ran down the street, he zigzagged through the crowds until he finally made it to the other side. His eyes fell upon Aunt Rose's boarding house, a welcome sight at last.
Jeff entered the house and spotted Rose watching TV.
He crept silently towards the stairs, hoping to avoid any unwanted attention. But Rose was quick to notice him.
"So sweeie. How was your date?" she teased, with a sly smile playing on her lips.
"It wasn't a date," Jeff replied, with seriousness in his face.
"Sure, sure," Rose chuckled.
"You can bring her over here if you want. I won't mind." Rose continued with her joke.
"I don't care anymore," Jeff said, feeling defeated by his aunt's childish attitude.
"I'll go up now aunt, bye" jeff said his last words before ascending in the stair.
Rose noticed that Jeff wasn't in the mood for her joke and decided to turn her attention back to the TV.
Jeff climbed up the stairs and reached for the door to his room, when suddenly the door opened beside him.
Aunt Rose's boarding house, had five rooms in which was exclusively for female boarders, john occupied 1 so there's 4 room that is occupied by female.
Aunt Rose preferred female tenants than male, but she made an exception for me, who was her best friend's only child.
Jeff had only been living in his aunt's boarding house for three months.
Some of the other tenants had been here for over two years, while others had been here for even longer.
The location was ideal - not too hot or cold - and the signal was strong. But what really made it a great place to live was the landlord, John's aunt Rose.
Everyone loved her warm and welcoming personality.
As Jeff stood there, the door beside him was finally swung open, revealing a stunning figure.
She had long black hair that cascaded down to her waist and her dark eyes sparkled like precious jewels. Her face was flawlessly beautiful, with no hint of any imperfections.
She wore a white t-shirt and a mini skirt that complemented her figure perfectly, enhancing her allure. Her breasts were just the right size, adding to her overall beauty.
Jeff acknowledged that she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen other than rose, but he was not one to be swayed by mere physical appearance.
He valued personality and character over looks. Jeff nodded in greeting and the girl returned the gesture as well after that the girl past jeff descending in the stairs.
Jeff opened the door to his room, getting inside and shutting the door behind him. gazing at the USB in his hand.
"Just a little more and I can finally finish Minecraft," he murmured to himself.
Jeff's replication of Minecraft was nearly perfect; he only had 20% left to complete before he could publish it on the Play Store and start making money from it.
Jeff removed his mask and hat, tossing them onto his bed with relief.
"I'm glad I had those on. If those guys had seen my face, they would have remembered me," he thought to himself.
Jeff remembered the people who had praised his programming skills.
In my town Sara, there were only a few people who knew how to program, and it was even rarer to find someone who could type as quickly as he could.
That's why the people who had witnessed Jeff's skills were so impressed and had admired him.
Jeff went closer to his bed, and he directly slumped down feeling the bouncyness and quishyness of the bed, he closed his eyes to rest.
After taking a nap to rest for a while, Jeff suddenly woke up and glanced at his phone, which displayed the time as 7:00 pm.
Jeff stood up and walked to the kitchen to wash the rice cooker.
Once he had cleaned it, he added rice and washed it with clean water to clean it before turning on the rice cooker to boil it.
John decided to pass the time by watching some TikTok videos. Finally, the moment he had been waiting for arrived, and an electronic voice sounded in his ear.
[Lucky Spin System]
[A day has passed 1 spin has been given to the host]
(Do you want to spin)
[Yes] or [No]
Jeff did not waste any time, and directly clicked yes. The red pointer spinned pointing at the different prizes.
"Please skill, Please be a skill, Ple..." Jeff repeated the same word over and over feeling excited. But to his expectations his wish did not come true.
[Congratulations, you've won 1000₱]
The notification appeared in Jeff view.
"Only 1000? That's a little low," Jeff let out a sigh of disappointment.
However, he tried to look on the bright side. The money he had won could still cover his allowance for two weeks, so he felt a little satisfied.
Jeff allowance for 1 month is only 2000-3000 , that was given by his mother. So he still appreciated what he had won.
Once the rice was cooked, Jeff went out to buy some food. He left the house and purchased three pieces of fried chicken, which cost a total of 30₱.
After eating his food, John went to bed for the night. He decided to finish replicating Minecraft the next day.
