Seated in his black Mercedes car, Shane bit his bottom lip while his eyes remained glued to the apartment before him.
'She must be sleeping by now.'
He tapped his index finger subconsciously. All these while, after leaving Silver and storming out of the Jayden mansion, Shane found himself here first before any other place.
When he left, the only thought on his mind was an escape to clear his head and mind.
However, when he finally focused on his surroundings he found himself outside Yasmin's.
Quickly, he went to her apartment only to overhear her friends' voices and returned to his car.
He watched and waited for two hours before they left her alone. By then he was impatient, worried, angry—several mixed thoughts and emotions ran through his mind.
Shawn looked at the time on his watch — 1 a.m., he couldn't groan and curse enough. For some reason he slept off, only to reawaken at 9 p.m.
