CHAPTER 173
By the time Storm finished his call and returned to his room, an hour had passed. He immediately noticed Silver wasn't in her room.
"Where did the little mice run off to now?"
A small smile graced Storm's lips. "Is she outside for a walk?"
He scanned the room, looking for any trace of her being in the mansion. "Her inner slippers are inside." Turning to the window, Storm called out for her.
When no response came as he peered out the window, he left her room to find her.
A couple of minutes later, he stood by the porche, with a hand on his waist. 'Playing hide and seek?'
He shook his head. She didn't look like one who would do that in her current state. Concerned, he asked the maids about her whereabouts and learned she had left the Jayden mansion.
Storm facepalmed at the news. 'Leave a cat at home… what happens? When the owner isn't home, the cat come out to play.' he grunted internally.
