A part of Kairav felt relieved but something ate at the back of his mind. He couldn't put a finger on it. But one thing was certain — it could either be good or bad.
The feeling came with a vibe he did not like. He wished to finish all his business and leave the city as soon as possible.
At night, he emailed Damien and Jared requesting their review of the proposal once more.
Words could not describe the shock on Kairav's face when he got a response from Damien at 7 a.m., agreeing to his request and finalising the project signing process.
"Finally, everything is beginning to fall back in place. Skai is your death doing this for me?" He chuckled.
'If I had known, I would have killed you sooner. Perhaps Damien's grief is making him rash decisions,' Kairav thought.
Arriving at Sterling Enterprise, he was immediately ushered into one of the rooms on the floor Damien's office was occupying.
