CHAPTER 152
A pair of silver lashes fluttered open as the soft light in the room filtered into her eyes.
She turned her head, her eyes taking in her surroundings before she propped herself up on her elbow.
"Hello?" her raspy voice called out.
There was no response whatsoever.
"Where is everyone?" Silver muttered as she pulled the duvet from off her body when she felt a dull ache behind her neck.
Silver's mind raced back with emotions to the events that transpired leading her to this point and having such pain in her back.
She remembered texting Shawn, her heart racing with excitement and nervousness as she had poured out her feelings to him.
"Hey Shawn… Umm I need to tell you something. I've been feeling this way for a while now, and I can't keep it inside anymore. I think… Scratch that. I have feelings for you," she had typed, her fingers trembling as she hit send.
