"What?!"
Jared was shocked she easily figured out that the one he saved was a female. Judging from her words, she may have heard the news about Skai.
However, all of those paled in comparison with her last sentence.
"Then let her die."
His eyes flashed a menacing red almost instantly. There was no way in hell he was going to allow that.
"Why?"
"Calm your horses, my liege. I mean that in a good way."
Jared's expression turned sour. Nothing about that phrase meant anything good.
"It is either that or they keep coming for her and my guess, whoever wants her dead, won't stop till she is dead."
Lilith leaned back against her chair, crossing her legs. "After all, that was why they chose the Cresent Pack, right?" she scoffed and added, "A vampire and a werewolf. Someone wants to begin an age-long battle."
