"Now, all he cares about is her and no one else," Sydney muttered under her breath.
Ashton's jaw clenched at her words as they only added to his suspicions. He took a step closer to her, his presence looming over her like a dark cloud.
"You aren't cheating on me, right?" Ashton asked in a cold voice, his eyes boring into hers.
Sydney's breath caught in her throat as she struggled to maintain her composure. She forced a smile, hoping to ease the tension.
"Of course not, honey," she replied in a whisper.
But Ashton wasn't satisfied.

"But you have feelings for him, correct?"
