CHAPTER 75
A dangerous glint flashed in Jared's eyes. Although he could end the miserable life of the man who had hurt Skai, he did not wish to sully his fingers with his blood.
On his way to the cell, he had been briefed on the man's profile and saw he was not worth it.
He'd be dead and no one would bother about him. No one saved for his ten-year-old daughter. The last thing he wanted was to tear the girl's father from her at such a young age.
Not that he warranted any mercy given his assaulting tendencies but for her innocence, he decided to spare him.
"No. This is his first and last warning."
BRRRRRGGG!
The thunderclap echoed through the cell, reverberating jolts and rumbling sounds everywhere.
"Hmm, didn't you say he hurt your woman?"
Jared had wanted to retort to that statement but decided against it. "He did. Stabbing her was a big offence."
