Ethan happily pressed his forehead against Silver's. "We are happy. That's good. Let's explore where and how this joy can last, hmm?"
He didn't know if she was ready or eager for a relationship like he was and did not plan to push her either.
She just emerged from a rough patch and was probably still going through it. That alone made him not want to act like a jerk and just be there for her.
Ultimately, they both needed it to get the ones they loved out of their heads.
"Yeah," Silver replied and locked her arms around her neck, pulling him closer for a kiss.
"So, are you going to stay here in the hotel?"
"Of course, why not? You don't want me to?"
"I never said that. I thought you'd be the one who wants to leave after a one-night-stand."
Ethan and Silver chuckled at her jokes as their lips connected once more.
